    Hi there

I had the same problem...and in the end gave up and got hubby to take the glass out..it was so much quicker than trying to clean it as it is...im still puzzled as to how that bit gets dirty when it is sealed in!!

I have the same problem too. I have to take the glass panels off though.

Spent most of yesterday morning with my bos and white vinegar and the oven yesterday. My glass panels slide out - last oven was an unscrew effort. However the one on the bottom door had loads of drips between the the panels that seem to originate from occasional (!) hob spills that slide down if the grill door/top oven door is open. In particular an over enthusiastic 10 year old that dropped an egg straight over it yesterday morning.

However I have real trouble cleaning the the oven 'roof' any ideas ?

My oven roof slides out. I didn't realise this for 7 years until I once felt lazy and got the Oven cleaning man in! It may be worth having a bit of a rattle arouns with it to see if yours does too. If so, you can just soak it in the bath in whatever you usually use.

Sorry if this has been asked before but I've spent ages trawling through and cannot find anything related to the door of the oven. I've got my oven shelves lovely and clean using the washing powder tips I've found but the inside of my oven door is covered in grease and I cannot get it off. I've tried bicarb soda and kitchen cleaner, I'm not sure what else to try.
Can anyone give me some advice please?
    Thanks in advance.
    missk
  • If it's glass you could use a glass scraper. Also I use bicarb with vinegar and salt..............

  • I cleaned mine last week with nothing but one of those round curly wire like scourers and washing up liquid! The door came up lovely (and believe me it NEEDED cleaning !!) I was a bit worried that it would scratch but its fine
I have had brain surgery - sorry if I am a little confused sometimes ;)
  • Can you take your door off  Mine has big bolts that you can remove, then carefully slide the glass panel out. I find it's easier to clean laid flat on the worksurface. I use Mr Muscle oven cleaner from time to time.
