Question about reporting to abuse

When you report to abuse do you have to type anything in the body of the message or is just the post/thread title in the subject line enough?

I just give a brief description in the body. IE spammer myusername is on the forums with x amount of posts etc.

I think it's always nice to give a brief description of why you are reporting the post/thread/user mainly so that

• the report can be made a priority if necessary without abuse having to visit the forum to look at the problem;
• it provides a track record of the issue after the post/thread has been removed. Sometimes it might just be removed from the user's view so abuse can still see it but not always I don't think
