Just had this nonsense e-mailed to me, this is about the sixth attempt to con me into giving my personal details in the last two weeks. I didn't realise how lucky i was :T

Just to give an update, I email the company that made the call ('info@telegenuk.com') and within minutes received the reply below:

I can confirm that your number has been suppressed from future calling activity.

just had a phone call from kyle @mychild.co.uk asking if i wanted to try out some cdroms for kids,i asked how much and he said it was free,i kept listening he waffeled on for for 10mins then asked for my cc details saying there is a delivery charge of 9.50 then it was 3.50 a month for 2 years so beware if he rings you,

I just had a call from My Child as well (their third attempt to phone me in 2 days), their number is 02074 309440.

Bleedin' woman wouldn't take no for an answer and kept insisting that I was wrong, there was no catch, no monies to pay, and that she should know as it was her ringing me with the full information, not the other way round. :mad: :mad:

Needless to say I told the condescending female canine that I was not going to argue and instructed her to remove my name and details from their list - her reply was to put the phone down on me :rotfl: :rolleyes:

I had a call from MyChild this morning but had seen some previous post on here so knew what was coming:D she was really pleasant though.
I listened to her telling about new SATS CD roms :rolleyes: then she mentioned I had entered a Win Math Tuition competition ( which I know was the one comp I wouldn't as my 13yr old DS would hate if I won ) the woman got a bit flustered when i said I definately hadn't entered that one she quickly said oh dear must have been a mix up I'll delete your information and quickly hung up .
