Ok whats been happening with you - either do me a quick re-cap or send me an email - I am guessing soemthing has happened to DS - is he ok or is he just being a teenager again? i wish you were nearer - I need ironing done!
On the plus side I have had lots of cuddles:D:D:D:D:D
YOU would have to go a long way to offend me (- that isn't carte blanche for anyone else to start on me though - Toots has special dispensation!) Just think Toots - all these new people who have been anxiously awaiting your return to get to know you! Hello all,
Firstly welcome back Toots. :j
Secondly hello to all those flyladies out there, I hope you are all doing well. I was a poster and avid follower then that thing called life got in the way. I still come in check up on you all occasionally. Before you ask I still try to fly, but since relationship with my then BF got more serious and turned to fiance I havent spent so much time in my house. That added to work normally, work sending me away, salsa lessons one night a week and the re-enactments my fiance (sorry have to keep writing that to remind myself, still call him the BF and its been 3 months!) does I dont have much time for posting. Bonus is flylady has meant that the house doesnt suffer too much. So to all those of you who are new, stick with it, it makes a difference.
Well I must go and cook something having not eaten today, but before I do, I have a Walkers code. First flyer to PM me gets it. There may be a delay in response whilst I cook...
Love to you all, hope to post a bit more soon.

Hello all
Toots is back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :j:D:beer::A:cool:
Its so good to see you! We have all missed you so so much.
Well I managed to get the flat nice and tidy for mum coming to visit, it was really good to see her and she put my mind at ease a bit about my granny, apparently my dad thought things were a bit worse than they are.
I've acquired an awful lot of clutter today though, my friend is leaving some things here over the summer, thankfully it all fits under the desk so it doesn't look too bad.
I realy need to do some washing up. It's my least favourite job in the world. Pub tonight with some friends before we all head our seperate ways for the summer, Its the one I used to work at, I'm going to see if the owner needs some extra hands over the summer, fingers crossed! Need the extra money.
Sorry i'm rambling a bit, lots of vibes for Hazel, hope she is getting better.
Love to everyone! I'm off to do the wasing up.

pauper 1 nice to meet you too - they are a gabby lot and dont believe everything you read!!! And you are in your first house - how exciting for you - you are doing the right thing by joinging us and trying to get routines in place - it will make life so much easier - start as you mean to go on and also get your other half doing their share too - there is no reason why you should be doing all the work! I hope you enjoy it on the thread. Seriously the support and friendship on here is fantastic - I know because i have been on the receiving end for months and if there is anything that is giving you grief just you let us know and we will try to help! xx

Isn't that nice?

Soappie - I owe you a huge apology - i was so busy posting thanks and being back I forgot to say THANK YOU to you for taking over the stars -
No apologies necessary Toots my dear.toottifrootti wrote: »you have done a fabulous job although a little bird tells me you have been generous on occassion giving starsand i thought you were a force not to be trifled with - dont tell me you have mellowed
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:or has Gordon been twisting your arm again?
And with respect, I would argue that I have NOT been over generous with the stars. I have upheld your standards to the best of my ability. Someone asked for one the other day and I told them they couldn't have it because they haven't completed the listtoottifrootti wrote: »
And whats this about chickens
Ahhh the chickens!
Quick precis - DS (who is still almost 29 going on 7) works at a school. They have had a science project where they took delivery of 10 fertilised eggs in an incubator thing so the kids could watch them hatch. All 10 hatched. They will go back from whence they came unless anyone wants to take them on.
Long and short of it, I have put our name down for two (ladies only!) We are on the list, but not top of the list at the moment. So we may not get them. But if we do, I have already worked out where the house and run go etc. etc.
Oh and (everyone) top news (I think) DS and DiL have been offered a mortgage (subject to survey etc) so it looks like the last of my babies is fledging and finding their own home v. soon.
It feels very strange...I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

It's so nice to have toots back :j:j:j (not that the rest of you aren't lovely too... but it hasn't been the same without her!).
I've emptied the DW and put together a rough plan as to how I'm going to get the house cleared up... starting with bins, then clearing surfaces, then filing etc...
I probably won't get much done tonight as I'm shattered, so I plan to watch a DVD and have a bath and an early night so I can really get stuck into it tomorrow.
I'm off to find some food now, and might sort out a few odds and ends while it's cooking.0 -
