Thank you for your very kind offer, but I think I'll pass it up at this particular moment in time - you never know I may change my mind in a few months..I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Well done RoseP - I was worried it was blood pressure....
Valli, glad to hear DS is feeling better about things
Toots, I’m really glad you might be getting community carers. I think we will all feel reassured that someone will be keeping an eye on you! As you know, I was a carer for five minutes and I really enjoyed it. The carers will be lovely to you and will make sure you stay as well as possible
One Step, I made went into my kitchen earlier just to admire it, I had no reason to be in there. I just wanted to look at it all clean and sparkly! You are not sad at all, it’s nice to take pride in the results of your hard work
Nice to meet you Aimee. Congratulations on getting engaged! How lovely
Well done Mambury, you have done brilliantly! I was going to say for a newbie, but actually you have done brilliantly -you have certainly beaten me!
Soappie, that’s great that DS and DIL have got the mortgage! How do you feel about living alone?
Mumoffour I really don’t know what to say. You have so much to cope with, I really don’t know how one person deals with so much. You are an amazing woman, and what a sweet boy you have to not want to bother you with his broken finger. Big big hugs to you and all the family
I really want to do some flying, but can't be bothered to tackle the bedroom or bathroom. I want to wash up but there isn't any! LOL who'da thunk it! :rotfl:
Where is Jill? I haven't seen her for ages. Does anyone know if she is ok?

Right, I've made a decision. I'm more likely to get a star on the bathroom than the bedroom, so will start on that. And then if I change the bedding on Sunday, that will count for both weeks...
Why does Shona wotsit on Masterchef always look like she's about to burst into tears? She isn't, it's just her face. Spose that's why she's in Eastenders, she couldn't be in a programme where she was meant to look happy! ETA: that's not meant to be insulting, she's really beautiful. Some people just have a face that, when it's in repose, looks miserable!
Here's what I've got left to do in the bathroom:
Thursday Scrubfest- Bathroom
Level One
Level Two
Clean baths, toilets, don't forget the outside! and sinks.. shine the taps with a toothbrush
Wipe keyboard, house phone, sockets, switches and mouse etc
Level Three
Wipe down tiles in bathroom
Empty and clean out all the upstairs bins!
Extra mission: Take your pick!- Wipe the skirtings, door and window frames in these rooms

Hi all, thank the lord it's the weekend. Well I've managed to do level two for Monday, All done for Tuesday and Wednesday and Thrusday now:j
Friday will have to try harder tomorrow, for now I'm indulging in a girlie night with DD2(nearly8) DS has gone off with dad in his lorry.
We have popcorn(damn stuff keeps getting stuck in my throat and teeth) it's still lovely though:D, a glass of milk for DD2 and a BOTTLE of wine for me, decided not to settle for just a glass tonight. Seeins as I have a pretty pants start to next week with a funeral on Monday(200 miles away), so having to go up on Sunday night, at least I can do some catching up with my oldest friend, I really miss her and her family. But at least tnext week should end better I will post earlier next week as me, DH, DD1 & boyfriend, DS and DD2 will all be in London for the weekend celebrating my 40th.
My 39th year has been phenominally *carp* So bring on 40:beer:.
