    Hazel is crazy!!

She ripped off the head collar almost taking her ears and nose with it.. I had to pin her to the floor so my mother could cut it off her!!! She then drove to the vet to collect another!!

She has been shot at the top of her nose with an air rifle the pellet.. had it gone in straight would have killed her.. so, according to the vet she was very lucky...

she is very sore looking but isn't in any pain.. and I have painkillers for her for tomorrow and she has to go back to the vet on Tuesday. I need to make her appointment later though as I have orthotics with Jb and won't make it to the vet too.

i have her in a large dog crate so she can't escape or get knocked about and she is eating well.. in fact, as she missed dinner last night and wasn't fed today due to the op she was ravenous and has had 2 dinners so far.. only small amounts but she squealed for more!

Poor little girlies are traumatised.. :(

Well done Carlsberrgal on getting your star!

Boddy well done on neatly sidestepping being set up, how horrible that someone would want to do that to you

Nite nite Toots, it’s so nice having you back

Have done all the bathroom list apart from cleaning the sink/bath/loo and tiles. Will get that done over the weekend. Three stars again! Yay!

ETA: Pigpen, those horrible horrible people. How can they do that. I showed DH and he was appalled too. Your poor little !!!!! and poor little girl.

Q Why have WE got a rate it button? It doesn't really 'sit' with this thread - or indeed this board TBH?

You have confused me. What 'rate it' button?

Pigpen your poor kitty! I am appalled... Has she lost an eye?

Yes.. the pellet blasted it straight out of the socket as it severed the optic nerve and enterred her brain.. the red dot at the top of her nose is where she was shot

Piggers, that is truly horrible and I'm sending get well bl**dy quick vives to young Hazel. I assume you've informed the Police? And leafletted your neighbours? We've had an awful case here on the South Coast about some yoofs killing a fawn

it's been on the radio news the last couple of days

I just don't understand the mentality of the people that do that sort of thing...
