so that I personally can tell Martin personally how good this thread is. (If I am the only one who has it LOL)
Not fair... I don't have one. Probably because I don't talk enoughPigpen your poor kitty! I am appalled... Has she lost an eye?
I'm speechless... well... anything I can think of to say would be censored. I hope Hazel comes through OK, and your littlies aren't too traumatised by it. They must be devastated.0 -
Dusty what do I need to remove? I can't find a new board?

Evening gang.
Strange old week. Not a lot done again as my sisters have took it upon themselves to spend lots of time with me while i am off work, and then when i did get time alone this afternoon i had time to hang out some washing and cook lunch before the nursery rang to say DS1 was being sick. He was such a good little thing. He managed to puke in the car on the way home when i couldn't pull over anywhere, and he got it all on a towel - none in the car apart from on his seatbelt. (Well trained boy so there was less cleaning for Mummy)
He got himself a little worked up at bedtime because he wanted his bedtime milk like his brother, but we worked through that. I really hope he is better tomorrow as we need to do so much, plus we need to buy him new shoes, and we promised him a little present for training on the potty so quickly - he wants some swimming gogglesIdeas 2 year olds get.
toots i am absolutely over the moon to here you are back at home. Hope you take it easier now and get lots of rest so you can stay there.
pigpen i am horrified by the injury to your cat. We never solved what hurt our cats leg when he was 4 months old. I prefer to think it was a fox or something grabbed him, but that just shows what some thugs can do. Hope the kids are not as distraught as they were. Poor thing. Has she lost an eye?
mumoffour nice to see you back. Your post stopped me wallowing a bit. That sure is a lot for one person. I wish you strength to deal with all that.
Take care all, i am going to go to bed, and will try to pop in over the weekend. DS permitting of course.

Have spent all day revising, or rather cramming for exam on Monday. Went to my Grans this morning with the intention of studying there (no sky, laptop, cats, etc) as it's distraction free but got too emotional being there. She's gone into a home in the last few months due to suffering with dementia brought on by a stroke last year. My mum and aunt have started clearing out the flat in order to rent it out or sell it, but it was horrid being there with it half empty, but all the photos of her and my grandad all over the place. Anyhoo, decamped back home but didn't get as much done as I wanted. Managed to get 3 washes done and did a workout on the Wii but a pretty unproductive day.
Hopefully tomorrow will be better, have decided to get down the allotment for 7am, then off to see Gran for 11am, then back by 1pm and studying for the rest of the day/eve so definately no more cleaning for a while!!
Toots - never met, but glad you are home. Only been flying this week, and have decided you must be a pretty special person going by the way you have been missed so much.
Pigpen - your poor cat, at least she can only get better now. One of my previous cats was kicked in the face and got a broken jaw, horrid horrid people. I can't abide cruelty or bullying to anyone, human or animal and often think I'd rather spend my time with my cats, at least they are nice (unless you're a mouse).
Have spent so long trying to catch up on the thread it's time to hit the hay, getting up early to Wii before the allotment. Don't know if I'll be able to get on tomorrow, got lots of psychology babble to learn!!!
Thanks to all, and hugs to all that need them

I've been trying to do some catch up reading the last couple of nights, but have had to write this off now...there are too many people in this house competing for goes on the computer!
Toots it is so good to see you back and posting again:j.......I went to bed with a big smile on my face after noticing you were back online last night.
Pigpen ~ the picture of your daughter and Hazel is gorgeous....hope your kitty heals well, what a rotten thing to happen.
Today I have caught up on a lot of paperwork, mainly concerning ds3's move to high school in September. I've also hit a brick wall with the part of our county council who were supposed to be assessing him for a laptop ( he has low muscle tone and struggles with hand writing )....he's been on the waiting list for a visit for over a year, I phoned today and was told they were understaffed and couldn't help, they suggested I put in a complaint .......so I shall be attempting to write one this weekend. Not sure if this will do any good, but I have to do something!0
