    Ahhh the chickens!
Long and short of it, I have put our name down for two (ladies only!) We are on the list, but not top of the list at the moment. So we may not get them. But if we do, I have already worked out where the house and run go etc. etc.

Oh and (everyone) top news (I think :o) DS and DiL have been offered a mortgage (subject to survey etc) so it looks like the last of my babies is fledging and finding their own home v. soon.

    It feels very strange...
awh soappie I am glad i am not nearer I would have had all 10!!!!!:rotfl::rotfl: I will keep everything crossed that you get 2 - that will be great fun and some work but a lovely bit of self sufficiency! Thats great news for the offspring about their mortgage - you are bound to feel strange - you have had them living there and being a part of the house ( and gas bill!) for a long time - but i am sure you and Beffy Boo will love the peace and quiet and the extra room for plans C D E F and G!!

Kazw Hi hun - no i am sure she wasnt- just teasing - but you always work hard anyway!
greenbee - some putting away and general tidying will make a huge difference - remember it doesnt have to be perfect 'good enough' will do!!! Sounds like you could do with a chill out evening instead.

Dirty dinner dishes in the DW and Washing brought in and folded - ready to go away when I have recovered.

    toots xx
    Peace will be mine

  • WELCOME BACK TOOTS!!!!!! Nice to have you back, hope you are feeling loads better.

Good evening guys, sorry I haven't been able to post today - I had so much to do.

It's nice to know that I can now relax and enjoy the weekend with my family with the minimal of daily chores, rather than wing and moan about all the mess.

Thank you guys for all your encouraging words, I couldn't have done this without you. I will need more words of wisdom next week, as I can feel my motivation dwindling.

I need to stay focused on this, I have enjoyed all week, but least of all today mostly because I feel so tierd, I am on the go from 7:30am and hardly sit down, unless it's to feed, or change babies, or in the car!! I must admit I do sit down to watch the last 15minutes of Deal or No Deal, I miss that sometimes too.

My MACAW CHALLENGE is to try and stick to flylady and get some stars!

Soappie wasn't that soft on awarding stars, we still had to work for them!!
If she WAS giving stars none came my way - and honourable mentions got comments and special awards but no extra stars either if I remember rightly!

Toots my love. Have skimmed through until I found your post, you made me cry happy tears, so don't worry!

DH probably already thinks I'm a nutter, honeymoon period over and all!!

Elbow - don't mention it, back on diclofenic and painkillers, but shouldn't complain compared to you and LL and all the others who have greater things on than me. Just a whinging s&d I am, no change there then!

    Please take it easy xx

Evening all! I've had quite a good day today. Didn't do too much flying after sorting the kitchen out as there isn't much that needs doing. The place is quite good at the mo. I've done lots and lots of walking, my legs really feel like they've been working hard!
Went to the docs, he said there's nothing to worry about so that's good. I love my doctor, he's brilliant. He really cares and he remembers you. Unfortunately he's leaving at the end of July :( I feel quite sad about that. Hopefully who ever comes to replace him will be as kind and empathetic.

Have finally got all of DH's receipts in date order now, got to get cracking on the accounts next week.

Going to catch up on the thread now.
