ahhh bob it sounds to me like you may be a bit of a rescuer as well ...i think there are alot more of us then we realise ...we do tend to take the rough end of the stick dont we ... whats mr b saying about it all ?
Well that's the thing El, he agrees with it all but doesn't do it. For example i have been nagging him to get a seperate account for his expenses for ages-he comes back with a National savings account which he has to keep £100 in at all times, even though it is instant access. All i asked him to do was get a basic current account. I even said DS could pay his keep straight in and it would cover his petrol and parking...but no, he has to complicate itIt is hard work and he expected the money to come from me and he would be sat with £100 he couldn't use..men:mad:

Well a couple were the reduction times at ASDA, which are after 9pm- she was saying that the prices at that time were as low as they go.
The other one was for gifts, such as gift cards- you can get them in store and put a tenner here and there on them.
I responded with the freebie ones etc.
She also was quite savvy re Quidco- i also told her about the cashback maximiser, and moneysupermarket site.
Some other stuff was about hidden bargaining, re Sky etc
I also said about MOT's- just regurgitated Martin's stuff really, but also added kwikfit do a service and Mot for £99, saves money and you can get discount vouchers off them. She was impressed with that one.:rotfl:
Hotdeals uk, and the grabbit board were mentioned. Just a mini chat about this site really, without mentioning too much:DBlackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

So get him to close it, and try again. And again. And again.
