xxx2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
I shall consider myself ticked off then.:o:o
Sorry guys, i have had a major wobble and the more i thought about it -the madder i became. I am going to have another talk with Mr.B, everyone will be out of house in about half an hour. DS will be at work and DD2 is out with friends.
I cleared off for a bit to go to Tesco's and spent £42 on shopping, lots of reduced items, then filled up the car as we used it yesterday so that was another £34. I was hoping for free 5p off voucher, but i just couldn't spend the £50- got what was on my list and quite a few points and green points to.
You are of course all right, here is the only place i let off steam and what not- you lot know more than my mother.:rotfl:
So where are the 'nad kicking smilies when i need them? Linda?????Wherefore art thou with the rudie ones?:rotfl::rotfl:Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

Moneysaving update.
£15 Quidco cash is being paid in, £14 voucher for trade in of mobile phone and £7.50 Voucher coming for trade in off really duff mobile phones.Plus 75p interest on current account, expenses being paid tomorrow ( i hope) so not looking too shabby there.
Had talk with him, we had to keep voices down as DD2 walked in with mate ( inconsiderate thing) but we have come to a stand off for the moment. He is into bank tomorrow to open his basic account and has taken every single credit card out of his wallet...about bloody time too.
I am on with a few other things,as have to put away £3000 this year for DD2 Uni next year. She is looking for a part time job and may well get taken on at the local gym where DS works yet ( fingers crossed)
My mum has generously offered to help out with a laptop for her as ones were are using have steadily gone down hill over the last year. She will need it for course work and such so, i am putting £80 of vouchers towards it and mum is covering the rest. Have ordered it on interest free for the remainder, total cost in Argos clearance sale was £249, so mum is happy to pay a certain amount per month. DD2 is ecstatic and i am relieved not to wrestle laptop away from them. I have already got the student stuff for it, so she will be ok there. She is also using my qype pen drive as her old one broke- she thinks is cool. It will be here on Wednesday can't wait as it will solve a massive headache.Oh and i ordered via quidco, so cashback as well.
So Bank holiday ended a bit better than i thought. Wallander tonight, so that will round it off nicely.Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

I swear debt has kept me and oh together.1)we cant afford to split and 2) everytime we have a bust up one o the parents say,"well ,you guys dont have any money to do anything, its bound to make you both tense".What excuse can we hide behind if I sort the debt?
Luckily I have 3 daughters ,so never gonna happen, there will just be gradients of debt /despair,lol.SWAGBUCKS Nov 17sbs redeemed; 2 x £5 Amazon

I got dragged into it, but quite enjoy it- apart from a couple of things:oBut we learn.
I am generally ok about stuff, so it is rare for me to be down i tend to get mad rather than down:cool:But it is a saga and has been a bit of a drag to get him to toe the MSE line, we are talking of breaking a lifetime of ingrained habits :eek:Which is why we are all here too! I just wish he would be a bit quicker about it and save me a headache.:oBlackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
