bionic knee update for you - had it done 19th Aug, but had got it infected going to see surgeon in t'morning after 5 hrs in A&E on Sunday :(:( but it seems to be settling down now...just need to get the finances going the right way and hopefully I'm on the mend and the mini0Guns go back to school on Thur, so even more time off but with some peace during the day to recouperate proper, like

Sorry you had an infection, i got one too when my knee was done:o antibiotics sorted out and mine isn't a snazzy bionic one, just the same old one tarted up.:rotfl::rotfl:

Finances are a pain eh? Hope you can get on top of things and see if you can get extra help for being off poorly. Have a thought for us poor old teachers who get hyper offspring in September- its hard dealing with the disappointment on their faces and the glee on the parents faces and the misery on our faces:rotfl:
But at least you can recuperate all proper like and be a techie expert- ooh now there is a job for you whilst getting over stuff...you can be online Q&A person - although that may drive you barmy.:rotfl::rotfl:

lol...hanx bob mrs G-J's a teacher (but not at present) so I know all about the September "riots" until the little darlings settle down Must admit, mrs G-J's been a real trooper these last couple of weeks, so she needs a rest from 9-3 , and I'm too bl00dy independant to be sat on my bum, so I haven't really helped much I must admit, I'm trying to get a part-time techie support/repair type business off the ground, but it's been a slow start, and at the mo, I can't exactly go leafleting now, can I

Well i never knew that, is she going to go back into teaching? Some good courses about with TDA and they pay.:D

I reckon you will be good at the support business, why don't you tinker around with a website and then go from there? Free business cards on amazon would help and then i suppose it is word of mouth.

HeHe anything for a freebie, eh bob ?!?!?!?!!? I've thought about a website, but I'm aiming relatively local. I have a separate e-mail and mobile no. for it, and LOTS of flyers awaiting distribution..feel a theraputic stroll through tesco, asda and sainsbury's car parks popping them under windscreen wipers when I'm off the crutches :rotfl:
