another thought...petrol seems to be a consistent excuse...how many miles does he do a month? I do a fair bit but not enought to constantly stuff the budget up...plus if its business he should be able to get it back surely?
He does less than i do, but i have a smaller car and is economical on petrol front. Plus i can claim mine back he can't:oHe used to do when he was self employed but not any more ...unless on company business.
Will just have to grit my teeth and go for it i am thinking.Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

Have you thought about opening a bank account for yourself at another bank?
I used to have one with The Woolwich, Mr.B had a barclaycard and our mortgage was with them...all of a sudden he was on my account :eek:My wages went in there and the letters were addressed to him as the primary holder. I complained and closed the account down. He was in a huff with me about it for ages. This was when Barclays took over the woolwich, they combined everything.
I also had an account at the Natwest at the same time, always had my eggs in dfferent baskets which is why i can't understand why i am, the way i am now.:o:oBlackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

hello Bob, keep missing you.
You can only have your name removed from an overdrawn Account if requested to the Bank by the other party to the Account. they also need to state that they accept responsibility for the debt and any accruing interest and charges up to the date of the account change and for any outstanding payments ( eg cheques ) that may be in process.
You would also need to make sure that any DD or SO authorities remaing on the Account were signed by him and not you.
Not sure if there is a time limit for complete responsibilty to pass ( as in, if you transfer title to your home 'out of love and respect for your partner' [which I did while I was self-employed] then you have to wait two years in case you are pulling a fast on)
Blimey, that went on!:D
You write it and get him to sign it.:D stay wonky
:D
....one-way ticket to Portugal booked !0 -
Hope you're feeling a bit better today.0

Thank you for the info Pepe.
Hey up Gun Jack, nice to see you about. Have you any news re the operation yet?
( I suspect he may enjoy the slapping;))
Hi Isom and Taxi, i am ok and feeling a lot better too, have loads of energy today...the wonders of modern drugs eh?
Been a busy bee, as it is Guide camp this weekend..so shopping etc and planning. Hopefully it will be fun.:D
DS is orf to London for the weekend, and will no doubt spend his hard earned dosh:eek: But it is his to spend...he assures me though that all bargains will be hunted out. They are sharing petrol and a hostel...
DD2 has spent up her savings and birthday money and was looking for a sub...i told her to keep looking especially after admitting to spending £70 in two days:eek::eek:
Have another busy day at work tomorrow and will hopefully be finished early enough to get guide shopping in.
That's me caught up, not a lot on the debt busting front as have just paid over the minimums as no doubt will have to put more money into joint account. Mr.B has agreed to open up an account for his expenditure, so will make tackling that overdraft easier. I would propose another 0% card, but reckon we are about done on those now.
Oh and Crapital one are being pains again. Sent in the phone harrassment letter and Mr.B recieved a concerned phone call ( laughable that one:rolleyes:)with promises to stop...they did for a week and now are at least three a day if not more and they are circumventing the last caller blocker..wonder how many nos they have?:rotfl: So a second letter with action is going back to them and of course we will keep blocking nos. In this respect he is being very good and paying what is asked, but not sent in statements...they can naff off on that one as i won't give them permission for the data..not my debt and they have no rights to info.Or am i being a stubborn cuss?Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

Ooh Bob, I feel your pain with Capital One, can't wait to be rid of them, only 700.00 to go but it is taking forever.
DD announced this week that she wants to join brownies (or would it be rainbows, she is 6 1/2) so will be looking into where and when they are! x xPay Debt by Xmas 16 - 0/12000

Well two years ago, he had £3000 to offer a full and final settlement..what did he do? err just paid it off the balance:mad: And run it up again and then some. So i know what you mean about the final bit taking forever...in my case it is the never, never...Think i will rename Mr.B , Mr.tick:cool::rotfl:
I love Rainbows, they are so cute. There are some lovely patrols about so hope you find a good one. Can usually be found attached to school or if she has some friends who go..that would be a good start:D I think she would be going to Brownies though as they are 7-10 years of age. Although she could start Rainbows and maybe move up with friends.Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
