Well done BOB so pleased your OH is catching up to where you are and great that your son has received an apology although he should never have been subjected to that first.

    Hope you are ok xxx

Love it - always compulsory viewing in our house when I was growing up, and we always watch the repeats when they are on now! (And still use Ronnie Corbett's monologue to go and make a cuppa!)

Hmm he is playing all nicely- but still tries to slip one past me:o He came home with a brochure about sky plus HD box yesterday. Happily informed of good deal he thought he could crack- said he was learning off me:rolleyes:( as if )

I told him the best deal he could crack would be me with a frying pan on his head..see flattery doesn't work with me:eek:

Upshot is that he has given up now..sulked and went to his saddo mates to watch footy:D

Tonight was busy with GG ( no not B*ngo) Guides. :rotfl:Am going to leave after Christmas to take up my Master's course again- free funding may run out otherwise and i am too MSE to give that up:D So will still go to help out with big events, but i have to say it is a bit of a relief-give me a 5000 word essay any day.:o:o It was taking over my life a bit too much (all weekends can be taken up at moment ) as the other guider relied on me a lot:o I feel a bit guilty - but i want to have a balance somewhere and move forward with my career. Luckily someone is stepping in so all good there:D

That's about it- although i did treat myself to a new cardi today- spent £12 as other ones were looking a bit rank:o Oh and some new socks-5 pairs for £3:cool: Couldn't find anything decent in the charity shops today so will have a look around tomorrow as i desperately need some winter stuff for work on the smart casual side.
    Petrol was £35:mad: but reclaimable:j
Shopping came to £60 this week- but lots of meals sorted- am in the countryside tomorrow so can stop off at farm shops and pick up a sack of potatoes for £3 so all good there:D

That's me done now-orf for a mooch and some toast.
