Don't know why, but i am in a philosophical mood and made some plans today. I think it is about time i accepted the inevitable and let some dead wood go in my life. Some things I can't change and at the end of the day i never will, so i have to make the best of things and allow nothing and no one to hold me back.

Ooh, I'm going backwards here, but underwire *makes* me comfortable! And padding. And lots of elastic everywhere else. Oh dear. Mind you, chocolate spread and tangerines sounds fantastic - or maybe that 100% fruit tangerine marmalade that costs an arm and a leg from health food shops? Slurp...........
Bob, you *sound* in a philosophical mood right now - its often just underneath the surface with me, hence the poetry quoting and whatnot. As I go to bed, I'm often talking to myself out loud - I know that sounds weird, but I can then manage to be a little bit more rounded in my life, having processed stuff - like, yesterday, I didn't go to London cos the work was cancelled, and what I actually did, mostly, instead of that, was to partly reclaim the 2nd bedroom - the junk on the (double) bed looked like a mountain, it wasn't a room that could properly be used at all. And now it can.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

I know what you mean, i mutter and talk to myself a bit- a pupil i was working with commentated, how i commentate as i drive; muttering that i hate speed bumps, tractors, roundabouts, traffic lights, loonies on bikes...i must have made an impression  At least i didn't swear:o:rotfl:Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

At least you didn't utter those fateful words: "Watch this..." :rotfl:"Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)
"We were born and raised in a summer haze." Adele 'Someone like you.'

What a surprise that the above quote attracted some male attention-' tit for hat ' eh Zed ?Nothing is so fatiguing as the eternal hanging on of an uncompleted task. William James0 -
oh bob sounds like you are gonna have a few new challenges coming your way and a good few changes for the better will be the outcome ...i am having a similar kinda thing just now...the annoying thing for me is i really feel i need to talk to someone about it purely to sort things out in my head but dont really have the right person to hand just now ...maybe i will just sit and talk out loud to myself and see if that works lol
good luck with it all it will be worth it0 -
That truly is philosophical. It is not before time and was inevitable that you would end up claering some dead wood so to speak.
You are the most important person in this equation and you only have one life on this earth so need to make deciscions that make you happy and not do stuff to just please others.
Only you know truly what you want and can achieve..so go for what you want.0 -
Hiya bob.How you getting on with your winter clear out?dead wood etc.
