I wouldn't use olive oil as the taste wouldnt suit
If you're marinating the chicken I'd mix soy sauce, garlic, chilli flakes and a bit of honey, black pepper too then add it all when cooking. Plain flour might be ok to thicken mixed with water instead of cornflour but I've never tried it0 -
Any white vinegar? You could make a sweet chili sauce - http://www.taste.com.au/recipes/20139/sweet+chilli+sauce

I would add to oil (it wil have to be olive if you don't have anything else:money:) the garlic, chili, soy sauce and honey. I think that would be quite nice.
In my usual recipe I use Sesame oil and some Chinese 5 spice powder but other than that it would be the same.HTH:)0 -
