xxWe made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -

What a lovely day.
all the lovely messages, and one from the site too!
Molly came over for 11, and she has just gone. She brought me a lovely birthdaycake and candles too! And some lovely Tilda books about sewing.
Now I want to disappear into the bedroom and get sewing.
My stomach is still playing up, getting cramps so I have taken an extra omeprazole, and must make sure I am eating ,more when I am taking my tablets! Which is difficult when I take the ones last thing at night!.
The postman has been, and there is a parcel with Video's for DGD. So she is happy as larry.
Its raining here, but still very warm.
Looks like DS has just got out of mowing the lawn today! And the washing i put on the line is all wet again.
Twin1 is apparantly still ill, and so she has not seen DGD except for 5 minutes at the end of Nursery on Tuesday. So there will be no Stay and Play tomorrow, after all. So no respite for Granny that way this week.
(Typical she is ill, but I am ill, and I still have to care for her!). Youngsters these days!.
DS is currently making me a toasted sandwich. Then we need to get DGD to have a lie down.When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
