  • Hi all and welcome to the newbies

Forgot the MOT on my car was due the other week  so have got it booked in for Thursday!! Can't believe I forgot and I've been driving around in it! doh!!!!

Looked at my bank account online this morning (like I do every morning) and noticed a payment for £7.99 had come out so puzzled had to investigate it! Apparently its for Playstation network  so contacted my bank as I haven't a clue what its for and the guy asked me if we had a ps3 in the house, I said yes the kids have one and he said it looks like you'll have to ask your kids then!!! er what??? but how have they done it?? he said they've used your card details :mad: anyway can't get hold of any of them on the phone but I really don't think my kids would dare go into my purse and take out my card and use it without my consent!!! In fact I know they wouldn't, the 2 oldest ones have their own bank account, so can't see it being them and DS4, hmmmm well he's been in a lot of trouble lately but I really can't see him doing that either!!

Just annoyed that the guy at the bank was rather flippant and I'm fuming more because I only had £10 left in my account til payday on Thursday  and now £7.99 has been taken out it only leaves me £2.01:mad: so rather peed off now!! and what do I do if the kids deny all knowledge of it? which is what I'm hoping they do!!!! do I contact the bank and say it wasn't them?? I've gone back over the last few months to make sure there hasn't been anymore and there isn't its just this once.

Sorry for the long winded message!

  • A priest and a rabbi were sitting next to each other on an airplane.

After a while, the priest turned to the rabbi and asked, "Is it still a requirement of your faith that you not eat pork?"

The rabbi responded, "Yes, that is still one of our laws."

The priest then asked, "Have you ever eaten pork?"

To which the rabbi replied, "Yes, on one occasion I did succumb to temptation and tasted a ham sandwich.."

The priest nodded in understanding and went on with his reading.

A while later, the rabbi spoke up and asked the priest, "Father, is it still a requirement of your church that you remain celibate?"

The priest replied, "Yes, that is still very much a part of our faith."

The rabbi then asked him, "Father, have you ever fallen to the temptations of the flesh?"

The priest replied, "Yes, rabbi, on one occasion I was weak and broke with my faith."

The rabbi nodded understandingly and remained silent, thinking, for about five minutes.

Finally, the rabbi said, "Beats the hell out of a ham sandwich, doesn't it?"
