Hi everyone, thought I'd pop on and say hello. No more pads though unfortunately!

I am gonna boast about a little victory I have had myself today, hope you don't mind - I'm a compulsive nail biter (yeah I know, it's disgusting, more germs on your nails than a toilet seat, I know...:p) and have been biting them since I was a little kid - but I haven't bitten them for 3 days now and I can't believe it! I told my mum and she just said 'so what, it's about time' haha cow. :p But I'm proud of myself anyway, you wouldn't believe the will power it takes lol. They haven't grown much yet though...

Anyway just thought I'd tell you all haha :T

    xx
Ths signature is out of date because I'm too lazy to update it... :o

Silaqui - well done [your Mum sounds like mine!! lol] Its very very hard to break that habit - keep it up and treat yourself to a nail makeover once they are long enough, they don't have to be that long to look good. Well done

Can you try and make amends by doing some extra Ebaying or other little moneymaking scheme?
I've just started reviewing and doing scratchies and sorted out some bits to Ebay....

  • :T Well done Sue and sohereweare! :T Great work on maintaining Sue and bloomin' heckers sohereweare! 7lbs!? How did you manage that!?? I love to know your secret! I only need 2lbs for me stone! :o

    xx

Thanks, I'm dead chufffed, need it to kick start the diet.

The secret, well i don't thinks a secret, I have cut out all snacking, junk food, carbs, and watched the fat, so dry frying most things, with less is more approach.

Basically, I haven't had any bread, potatoes, pasta and rice for 1 week. I only eat 3 meals a day, nothing in between except tea and water (lots of water) and I have done 3 mammoth sessions at the gym.

Its a bit of a shock for the first few days but if you think of it as its only 1 week, a bit like a detox.

    Oh ye and no alcohol.

This week and next i will slow reintroduce Carbs but don't go to mad.

    Hope that helps

Hi a pad of £15 from me today, that's the money I drew out to spend on Saturday night at the wedding but because i'm on the wagon!!, it didn't get spent. ha ha.:rotfl:

Wicked work on the driving! Good MSE /PAD saving too. I really need to get my driving test passed! How long did it take you? Any tips appreciated. I had lots of lessons in 2000 after uni then failed the test (cos I took a corner too fast and instructer hit his head on window LOL :rotfl::rotfl:) then had to move to London where you don't really need (or would want to!) to drive. Would be very useful in the new job though....
