Sue P - sorry to hear about your sad day. Re the charge I would defo give them a call tomorrow...if you knew it was gonna go o/d but made a payment then they should not penalise. Give them some stick (or call rent a mob and we will bombard their customer service guys!)

Angelic - linked thread. Poor OP - I've been there too - as recently as last Dec. I am just glad no trolls came along to ruin it and diss him/her for being skint. There are some good people out there after all.

Hi to all newcomers and returners:j:j:j:j

I am sooooooo p*ss*d off. Its my own fault, I did a very MSE thingy and exchanged my expensive BT/Orange Broadband for a package. Well I did a silly thing and didn't read the bottom of the letter...............1st dd on the 25/7 followed by 12th of every month.....................yup you guesssed it missed the one for today, so this mornin I saw it and shoved £40 in to the bank from its attatched saver, instant transfer, PHEW

Er NO :eek::eek: the bstrdsssssssss have charged me a £25 account review fee :mad::mad:
Now if it had been reviewed by a bod, they would have seen I had put money into it to cover it, so me thinks that its a compie automated charge!!! and we all know the ombudsman thinks a £25 charge is excessive .....................just getting steamed thinking about it.............................I HATE AUGUST, its a really bad month for me (DS died 20 years ago yesterday) So roll on september................on the good side am off work next week :j:j:j:j teddies here I come

    Sorry moaning again!!!!!!

More DH's for you Sue :grouphug: - very sorry to hear that xx

No he never got it sorted, they're going to 'investigate' but he doesn't think he'll see any of it!

I'm not going to put this in my pad total as I'm not going to count it as going towards debt but 2nd pad for me of £137.78 to keep Mac sweet!

    YeeHaaaaa!!! Nice one Angelic!
And thanks very much for your kind advice on the "Fess Up" thread - much appreciated ;):T

Sorry to hear about your day Sue P. Todays PAD £11.80. Congratulations to Thisisforthekids on passing your driving test.
Proud to be dealing with my debts:j
    Snowball amount £25548.54
    PAD Challenge £959.84 (Oct - Dec 2017)
    1% Challenge so far 11%(Oct - Dec 2017)
  • MY PAD was 86pence!!! to clear the last bit of my overdraft lol
    Debt at lightbulb 16/8/2009 - -£22148.77
    Debt today (6/11/2009)-£21,570.87

Proud to be dealing with my debts

  • I will be having a week off from PADs shortly due to holiday starting Friday. I will post anything that left my account when I get back. Due to holiday spending money, I am seriously skint. Tax bill not completely paid. Council tax not paid yet this month (hope to sort this before I go). Road tax due when I get back. Leaning heavily on my overdraft at the moment On a brighter note, I did manage to get paid for a couple of large jobs in cash (a cheque wouldn't have cleared before my holiday). This holiday is a financial hiccup but I badly need it. Also, I'm owed a couple of grand from customers so I reckon there will be some cheques on my mat when I return.
Another small reprieve is that from September 1st, my mortgage will cost £130 less than I have been paying so far. That will help. Being off my fixed rate makes me feel a little more vulnerable but at the moment, at least it's saving me money. Now on the 3 monthly LIBOR rate + 2%. Hardly a good deal but OK at the moment.
