OH offered to LEND me 80p and I can pay him back. To say I was furious would be an understatement - the coin jar is going towards OUR wedding. Not mine, OURS! Not to mention the fact that all of the wedding savings so far have come from me, he begrudges me 80p! As it happens he didn't have 80p on him anyway. :rotfl:

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I know I shouldn't laugh but lending you 80p is really tight fisted!! Are you sure he's not a secret MSE user??

    Rant alert!!

Just had a phone call from OH. Tesco want the money that was paid to him this morning back as they said it was a mistake and they didn't owe it to him!

OH noramlly puts £100 a month towards the shopping so for the last 3 months I've been putting it on a cc with a view to paying it off when this money arrived so now he won't be able to pay me back because his wage is taken up every month by the utility bills and his normal amount £100 towards the shopping. So now, I'm stuck with another f***ing cc to pay off when I shouldn't have to and it's at 14.9% so will have to pad all my cash to that instead of trying to clear my Barclaycard which will set me back at least 4months - I'm so f***ing angry!:mad::mad:

    Hi all
Had a nice couple of days away but am glad to be back so I can pad again :o;) how sad am I???

Had a nightmare yesterday with the car tho  borrowed my dad's old jeep and it broke down on us 160 plus miles away from home!! £360 to get towed home, what a bl00dy nightmare!!! My breakdown cover was only for my car :o that'll teach me to read the small print!!! The gear box has gone on it again!! he only had a new one put in less than a year ago.

I haven't read through all the posts yet - there's that many of them

Two brooms were hanging in the closet and after a while they got to know each other so well,
    They decided to get married.
One broom was, of course, the bride broom, the other the groom broom.

The bride broom looked very beautiful in her white dress.
The groom broom was handsome and suave in his tuxedo.

    The wedding was lovely.

After the wedding, at the wedding dinner, the bride-broom leaned over and said to the groom-broom,
'I think I am going to have a little broom!'

'IMPOSSIBLE !' said the groom broom.
Are you ready for this? !!!!!!

    'WE HAVEN'T EVEN SWEPT TOGETHER!'

The payroll dept didn't pay him his paternity leave and they missed a load of his hours off his wage by accident. Personel told him he was due nearly 3weeks wages.

So OH gets a wage advance as a way of an apology for the inconvienence.

The last 3 pay days they didn't add onto his what was owed (neither the pay pay or the hours he was due) which is why the shopping was going on cc.

Then they announced that he was only due 8 days of paternity pay and they still haven't paid the hours he missed out on but they want the cash advance back and the extra paternity leave pay.

I really hope that makes some kind of sense as it's quite complicated!

EDIT - That doesn't make any sense!

Here's the simple version - He has to pay back his advance when he hasn't been paid the money to pay it back plus the 6days of pat pay.

I hope that's easier to understand!
