Morning all,
finally got money owed from work so £1.35 for yesterday (couldn't get online) and £57 for today so.... £58.33 towards halicrap cc. (still short of what I need for my target for this month - but hey I'm getting there!)
have a great weekend everyone!!!New surname New start!
Total Debt - [STRIKE]£9999.09 [/STRIKE]now 7633.16 23.66% paid off0 -
What a brilliant total yesterday, thanks Macgirl for doing the sums.
Just £1 for me today as its the last day before a week off from work(and I need to make sure I have enough spends left over).
Lovely and sunny here. Have a good Friday.:beer:This time I haven't smoked since 6th Jan 2014 and still going ok.
Fingers crossed x0 -

thanks! i think DH was slightly heartbroken that i didn't say - let's spend the lot! (but he should know by now that's not how it works
)
funny, my sister used to live across the river in boston before moving to SF! (which is a fab place, too). yes, we are really loving it here. i've had a few big hair days this week, but clipping it back severely when wet and leaving it clipped has helped enormously. i always think of monica geller in friends when my hair goes big -"it's the humidity!"
kids are having a great time, my parents bought them a bike each  but like andy said, a lot of things here are about the same price in dollars as in pounds...i have been quite good so far, mindful that it's going to be a hard stretch up to xmas when i get back, but i am going to treat myself to a few pandora charms. they start at $25 dollars here, and at 25 quid back in england  so it's sort of MSE to stock up, right? (if i want it, need it and can afford it :money: !)
off to watch the red sox & drink some wine. it's friday where you are now - POETS day - enjoy! whoop whoop! xx
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: She looked EXACTLY like Monica Geller!!
Better not tell DH you're off to see the Red Sox, he LOVES America and has always wanted to live there. We went to SF for a few months when we graduated.
We were a bit green though and really should have secured jobs first. There's a chance I could get work there, but now DH has started his business and the kids are in school, it may be too late.....Never say never though
Have a great trip!0 -
Morning thread !
£66.50 for me ; £60 to the hols, rest to Cap1 and ready to book it tomorrow. Very exciting, cannot wait for two beach weeks! Hoping that gets two weeks "all in" in Turkey in late Sept, should do. This will be my first "saved for" hols and not on credit which makes it even sweeter.

Know just what you mean.................I have come to the conclusion that PADing ruins your life :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I got home last night to my quarterly steiff mag and oh boy did I fall in love, his name is Edward the bear................adorable and gorgeous. OH said I could have him BUT my PADing heart says NO!!!:eek::eek::eek: If you save for it you can PAD itWhat to do!!!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Yes, I was window shopping on the net last night and put a pair of jeans and a lovely top in the basket at a well known clothing retailer. Total came to £78.
I justified the purchase that I would wear them to death and they'd look great at a do I'm off to next week.
Then I could hear Angelic telling me I had no Self-Control - so I walked away.
Therefore my PAD for today is £78! How healthy does that sound!!0 -
Thanks macgirl, am doing a BA/BSc in Criminology & psychological stdies - tough going but as I didn't go to uni from school and spent the time annoying my dad:o, I thought I'd make him proud of me. Then I found out it's addictive!!!!
Wow, sounds like heavy going! Good for you, it can't be easy to study alone - you must be very disciplined. Keep going, it'll be worth it in the end and you will make your Dad proud!0 -
