Happy Friday everyone!!!
Well done LondonAndy - I hope it all works out well
It's nearly the weekend and this week at work has been a walk in the park compared to last week! Ahhhhhh
It's Gay Pride festival here in Amsterdam this weekend (starting today). It's free, so me and the OH are planning to go into Amsterdam and have a look see, smile, take some pics etc. Although the OH is a bit worried about getting his bum pinched (amoung other things!) hahaha.February wins: Theatre tickets0 -

Oh, and a Dutch phrase for the day:
We laten ze een poepie ruiken! = We'll show 'em how it's done!
But.....literal translation is along the lines of - we're going to smell them a fart! hahahahahaFebruary wins: Theatre tickets0 -

Hi All
Happy POETS day!! :j:jI certainly intend to abide by this today after a very long and tiring week!
Today's PADs are £19.32 to Hellish Halifax (this represents the difference between OH's contribution to the household bills and 50% of the actual cost of those bills) and £21.31 to Evil Egg (this amount is what is left over from July's money - payday was yesterday!!) making a total today of £40.63
August PADs are going to be very small at the beginning of the month, non-existent while I am on holiday and very large at the end of the month when I use what is left of August's money, plus the little bit I have got in my holiday fund, to pay off as much of the holiday expenses as possible!
Have a good day everyone!PigginSkint's debt free diary

They of course will want to save on the payroll bill in a recession vs me wanting to max my income. I hope so, It's a cracking job, will be great for my career and skills (but bloomin hard work I suspect!) Did I read a few pages back that you were also looking to move jobs?
Thank you for being the August counter btw!
Don't let them palm you off with "recession". Some people are still making plenty of cash, so I'd be cheeky and always ask for more. You only get one chance, because once you're in there, you'll only get incremental rises - so stick your neck out - you're worth it!:D
I'm not really looking to move. Just had a bad week before the holiday, I looked on a jobs site and saw an amazing job, but it's really at least a year away from me, so I'll keep my head down and stay put - for now;)
As for being the counter - it's my pleasure. Just that I won't be able to do Wed as I'm away, so feel like I've fell at the first!! Will make amends on Thursday though! Have a good day0
