    Afternoon All!

    Fab total yesterday!

Congratulations Nat!! How far along do you think you are?? Just a wee word of advice, I apologise for giving advice already as I'm sure you'll get lot's more in the months (and years!!) to come...babies don't have to be expensive so don't go over the top buying rubbish that you won't need!! Own brand is just as good as expensive (in fact, I think Pampers nappies are amongst the worst out there! :D)

DT my pad for today is £9.00!

Not sure I'm going to be able to keep to my £10 a day next week,
have a few wee unexpected things to fork out for and as we all know little amounts can fairly add up but in this case I'm not happy about it
    Started PADdin' 13/04/09 paid £7486.66 - CC free 02/11/10

  • Afternoon All,

PaD for me today of £4.81

Don't know where my wages have gone this month but my bank account is looking a little empty just over a week in. Looks like I'll just have to spend more time on MSE so I don't go spending money!

Good luck nattiecake - I'm sure you'll have fun with your goal :D

I am going to get back on track with the diet and saving money, so no more bought lunches.

I have spent today preparing the week's lunches for work and dinner for after work

Made coleslaw, potato salad, Greek salad, pasta salad

Defrosted some prawns and mussels to go with the salads. Also got tinned tuna , salmon and crab.

Boiled some eggs for tuna nicoise or posh tuna and egg salad for those who don't know what it is.

Made a salmon, cod and prawn pie topped with potato for tomorrow, lasagne for Tuesday. Already thinking about Wednesday - possibly haggis.

I need to re-focus and perhaps my ramblings will also help someone else.

    Speak soon

Don't feel down, Jo. You've done so well so far. I always secretly admire how methodical and consistent you are with your payments. Keep going hun, you'll be debt free before you know it ;)

Ooo Gilly, you've made me feel really hungry! Your meal plan sounds great. Good luck with getting back on track. Glad you had a good hol too :D

Terri - how was Brighton? Hope you've had a good trip and bought an obligatory stick of rock :p

DT - the totals are looking fab. I wonder if July will be the highest paying month of year? I can't PaD until OH gives me my money. He's had a huge work disaster but should be getting the money back tomorrow- fingers crossed for me please!!!!!!!!!

Flower - glad the move went well. I lived with my in laws many moons ago and it wasn't so bad. I think the perks of the extra cash to pay off your debts and the chance to save will outweigh any niggles. It's a bit of a once in a lifetime opportunity really isn't it? ;)
One step at a time ;)

Hope you had a good time at Brighton Terri :D:beer:
Flower glad to hear everythings ok with you in-laws, hopefully now you can pay off your debts and get saving for a place of your own good luck!!

A blonde heard that milk baths would make her beautiful. She left a note
for her milkman to leave 25 gallons of milk

When the milkman read the note, he felt there must be a mistake. He thought she probably meant 2.5 gallons. So he knocked on the door to clarify the point.

The blonde came to the door and the milkman said, 'I found your note
asking me to leave 25 gallons of milk. Did you mean 2.5 gallons?'
The blonde said, 'I want 25 gallons. I'm going to fill my bathtub up with milk and take a milk bath so I can look young and beautiful again.'

The milkman asked, 'Do you want it pasteurized?' The blonde said, 'No,
just up to my breasts. I can splash it on my face'. :p:p

Totals are looking fab DT you must be pleased :j:p
