  • Whenever someone says they are paying the taxman I want to boo as though a pantomime villain has just entered stage left.

This is what The Taxman looks like in my head:

    Morning all,
hope you're all doing ok. £10.26 please DT to Barclaycard visa. Well done everyone on the massive payments you've been making :T Flower - I'm sure you made the right decision moving in with the in laws it must feel like such a relief that every spare bit of cash can go to debt busting, although you must give yourselves the occasional treat too:D
Feeling a bit down at the mo with the old debts, don't seem to be making much headway really:o

    Hiya,
me again. Just been playing around with snowballs rate checking etc and came aross Barclaycards 'flexi rate'
As I'm sure quite a few of us are PADing to B/C their flexi rate would make a huge difference. I'm currently paying 27.9% where as I could get 12.9% with the amount I'm repaying:mad:
Have sent them a secure message to give it a go although I'm confident they'll give me a big fat no. Funnily enough on my M/C they have just doubled my credit limit so do they think I'm getting better or are they wanting me to succumb to more debt:confused:
