I'm really fed up today - I just seem to be spending everything I have managed to pay off. I am off to Hungary for a family wedding today, something I really can't afford, but had to go and I had to pay buildings and contents insurance (which I managed to get for £65 providing cashback goes through) and travel insurance along with all the normal expenses....I just feel like I am back where I started nearly There is nothing I can do until I get paid on the 31st....I might be able to pay off a little bit of my credit card, but I have had to spend on it for the holiday...I have one 0% one which I never spend on and one with interest. I know it is just a bad patch.....I'm even starting to think about getting a lodger in just to give me something extra. Things will get better in a couple of months, I will get a pay rise, which should hopefully make a difference. I am going to keep plodding away, sorry to moan, might even put some things on ebay if I have time before I go! Right I've got it off my chest...now to try and find a solution!

Paul - I know how you feel about ScAbbey :mad: I detest them!!! I had my mortgage with them until 2004 :mad:

Well no pad for me today as I'd forgotten a couple of dd's that were due out and I went food shopping the other day and that's come out taking me over my OD ooops so nothing now til get paid on thursday unless I find the odd penny or two to pad!!

Not sure if I've posted this joke before :rolleyes: it is an oldish one tho but still quite funny!!!
Brian invited his mother over for dinner. During the course of the meal, Brian's mother couldn't help but notice how beautiful Brian's roommate, Jennifer, was. Brian's Mom had long been suspicious of a relationship between Brian and Jennifer, and this had only made her more curious.


Over the course of the evening, while watching the two interact, she started to wonder if there was more between Brian and Jennifer than met the eye.

Reading his mom's thoughts, Brian volunteered,

'I know what you must be thinking, but I assure you Jennifer and I are just roommates.'

About a week later, Jennifer came to Brian saying,

'Ever since your mother came to dinner, I've been unable to find the beautiful silver gravy ladle. You don't suppose she took it, do you?'

Brian said, 'Well, I doubt it, but I'll send her an e-mail just to be sure. So he sat down and wrote:

I'm not saying that you 'did' take the gravy ladle from the house, I'm not saying that you 'did not' take the gravy ladle. But the fact remains that one has been missing ever since you were here for dinner.

But the fact remains that if Jennifer is sleeping in her own bed, she would have found the gravy ladle by now.

Great total for yesterday :T thanks DT for adding up :T sorry I'm not going to be able to help until Thursday am totally skint!!! apart from what I've got in my purse, am annoyed with myself for not working out my money properly (yet again) :mad:

I have been skint for weeks because I messed my budget up playing free bingo to try and get some free dosh :rolleyes:

I can wait until Thursday:rotfl:

Mine will not be until Aug which is not good :mad:
