No Terri I can't see it either, if he wont pay for 1 quad there's no way he'd pay for another 3 :rotfl: trying not to make out he's a horrible git - he's not that bad really - his words is he's not tight just frugal :rotfl: his workmates call him a tight ar5e!!!
he has a daughter of 16 who lives with her mum so yes he pays for her and obviously gives her pocket money etc - he's not tight at all with his daughter funnily enough. She's just left school and is going on to college in september.
I keep forgetting about the free bingo on wednesday nights! must remember tomorrow!!!

Hi Sue
lol I don't think there's anyway on earth OH would let me control the money - I haven't made a good job of just my own so far!
I've shown him my snowball calculator before now and my bank statements, my income/outgoings and he thinks I'm stupid for getting myself into such debt and can't understand how I let it happen!!! He has no debt at all not even a credit card. Mr Perfect or what??he's not very sympathetic!

Not sure about Mr. Perfect but he will be biting his nose off to spite his face if he doesn't pay and you don't go - although you can't go if there is no internet :rotfl:.
Money in our house is dealt with by me and it is ours but it is different if you are living apart.
He should be proud of how much you have paid off :T:T:T
Thats my pennyworth

We have a Mr Perfect at work and boy does he make me feel inadequte:mad:
That is until I remember that I have a beautiful DD who is 18, have been with faithful partner for 23 years. Been in severe debt at 21, lost a child, dug myself out of debt and bought a house by 30. Run my own business as well as work full time, run a house etc etc and all Mr Perfect does is go to work and home again!!!!!!!!! Women RULE :T:T
Yes Green, he may think you silly for having got in debt but its not something any of us choose to do, it happens and so does life. Next time he is a bit huffy, just remeber the sisters (Paul and Andy -honourary sisters, hehe)are with you and he wouldn't be able to cope as you have, then have a cat that got the cream smile on your face and he will wonder what the f**k is going on :rotfl::rotfl:

quick hi - off to nursery in a moment. exciting day as took the proceeds of the sealed tin to the post office this morning and swapped 45.50 for 70 dollars! woo hoo - that is the sum total of our spends until pay day
i control all the money in our house, we have a joint account for all bills, food etc but we also have our own accounts and we can do what we like with the money in those. i get "paid" from my DH once a month
& although the majority of his wage goes straight to the joint account, he keeps some back so that he can have his own money and not always be checking with me. works for us! xx
Mortgage free as of 11/11/15 !
:Anow... to start some serious saving :A

I think with money tho from what he's told me when he was with his ex, he controlled it, paid all the bills etc cos she was stupid with money as well (surprise, surprise!) I don't see myself living with him for some time yet, if ever to be honest - cos I like my own way too much  with living on my own for so long I actually like it, maybe I'm just set in my own ways too much (of course I'm far to young haha) we'll see.
thanks DT I am quite chuffed with how much I've paid off just wish it was more but hey ho.Debt @ LBM - £25,722 Debt now - £11,811 DFD - April 2012
