I've been lurking around reading lots of threads and getting loads of good advice for the past couple weeks, and I'm making my first ever post so please be gentle with me!!
I love the PAD idea and would love to join. I've always got a little bit of extra money hanging around even if its just a few pence but I guess it all makes a difference!
I've just transfered my nasty RBS card at 16.9% onto a Barclaycard at 0% for 12 months and I want to get the £2215 balance paid off asap. I'm going to put all my extra little bits in a jar and pay it off the card once a week and hopefully get the balance down quickly.
I've started by putting £1.27 in the jar today

Hi all and hi to all then newbies :hello:
I've had a sh*te day today thanks to DS4!! actually no it started last night when he was brought home by 2 policemen in their car!:mad: am not going to go into it on here but am gobsmacked and very disappointed in him! and he's grounded for the whole school hols!!!:mad: and possibly longer!!!!!
A married couple went to the hospital to have their baby delivered.
Upon their arrival, the doctor said that the hospital was testing an amazing new high-tech machine that would transfer a portion of the mother's labour pain to the baby's father. He asked if they were interested, Both said they were very much in favor of it.
The doctor set the pain transfer to 10 percent for starters, explaining that even 10 percent was probably more pain than the father had ever experienced before. But as the labor progressed, the husband felt fine and asked the doctor to go ahead and kick it up a notch.
The doctor then adjusted the machine to 20 percent pain
transfer.
The husband was still feeling fine. The doctor then checked the husband's blood pressure and was amazed at how well he was doing.
At this point they decided to try for 50 percent. The husband continued to feel quite well. Since the pain transfer was obviously helping the wife considerably, the husband encouraged the doctor to transfer ALL the pain to him. The wife delivered a healthy b aby with virtually no pain, and the husband had experienced none. She and her husband were ecstatic.
When they got home they found the postman dead on the porch.
Pad today is £21 to various bits and bobs!
