Morning all, just a quick post from me as I made my pad yesterday - I'm having a quick catch up so hopefully there won't be too much to read when I get back!

The postmans just been with a letter from the exam marking people to tell me that £466 lovely quids have been deposited into my bank account  I will allow it to stay there for the weekend and then have a bit of a sort out on monday to decide where it is best off going!

See ya all, have a good weekend,

    xx
Ths signature is out of date because I'm too lazy to update it... :o

Ooh lovely, you must be very happy with that!

On the other hand, your postman has been already!!! We're lucky if our postman is here before midday now a days! Very annoying.

Postal service has really declined badly in recent years around here. Only one delivery a day these days too if we're lucky.
Afternoon became the normal delivery time for a while. When they were doing holiday cover, the deliveries happened around 5 pm for a while a couple of years back. It now seems to have settled down to between 10 - 10.30 am. A particular problem here is the timelock to the communal entrance. Sometimes the timelock deadline would be missed by the postie on several consecutive days and I would end up getting three days mail at one go. I notice this more than most because I get a lot of cheques through the post. This seems to now be resolved as we have a regular postie again rather than relying on someone doing extra cover for overtime. The days seem to be gone when you would get the same postie for 10 years solid. It's not as if I live in the sticks either. I live next to a main town centre less than a mile from the post office.
I'm not so bothered about it unless I need to get some cheques into the bank urgently.

Was woken up early this morning by my DS1 telling me we have a frog in the toilet:eek:.
Thinking that it was probably something more disgusting shaped like a frog i stayed in bed. Then started to think actually if there is a frog down the loo I'd better get up (don't want it hopping round the house!).
Went to investigate and it was How the hell did a frog get in my loo? so i did the whole mug and piece of card trick and put it outside. Thats me tired out for the day i really could just go back to bed but I've got loads to do today Grrrr...
Anyway another £10.17 to mbna for me today.

Yea we definatly do not get the same postman all the time. The flat we live in is **a, and i must have told about 4 seperate postmen that they are delivering our post to the wrong place because they havent noticed the 'a'. Im sure its just laziness though, by delivering to the wrong address he saves himself walking an extra 20metres - drives me mad!
5pm is a rediculous time though to receive mail!

We get our post any time between 1pm and 3pm...... seems like they cancelled the 'first' post round here, not the 'second' post!
