Morning all :j Popping in early with my DD payment to set me up for the day £123.79 to DH lloyds CC. Could be back later when I see if I can make some more payments!! Talked to DH - who was quite neg about the debts, saying they were much worse than he thought & why weren't we getting clear of them?? Pointed out that my LLoyds cc was £10,831 on statement on 8th June - today (6th July) it's £8569.. he liked that:D They have offered BT cheques for 0% till Dec so need to get the remaining balance off & do a BT from the other high-interest cards....sorry for waffling but need to keep focussed as the long-haul can get dispiriting at times when the end doesn't seem in sight IYSWIM.
After CCs comes o/ds & finally mortgage.......whew, I hope I last that longNew start JAN15 - NOT BUYING IT 2015 . Long haul DFW #145 : 2011 DEBTBUSTING : £5500 OD GONE, £2000 OD - GONE £93,610.30 cc & loan debt - GONE 27.6.14 FINALLY DEBT & MORTGAGE FREE :happyhear0 -
Aww bless. Our cat is always like that, more often when she knows im trying to do something. OH is still in bed and the cat is asleep in my space next to him
:rotfl: My cats are all like that - nosy beggars when I'm trying to do something and then they b*gger off and give all their affection to my OH! My youngest cat is a big soppy boy and the two girls are less affectionate but still demanding. It's really hard to eat cereal in the morning with a wee furry face peering over the edge of your bowl and the two girls using me as a cushion!
Good luck with your move - I couldn't live with the OH's parents, they would drive me up the wall!
Anyway *ahem* pad for today is another 50p to Barclaycard. Had a good time at my mum's yesterday for her birthday - she was all excited over her balloon!Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. Car loan 1 £11,174, Car loan 2 £5,532, CC 0% BT £780. Debt Free Diary to try & keep spending in check.0 -

Does that help?
Yeah that does help!!
Inverness has got a Primark but it's really rubbish! The one in Glasgow is soooo much better!

Morning All,
Had a very productive weekend, which included officially moving the final bits of my stuff from my apartment to 'our' apartment. The landlords were there and so we agreed to do the checkout then, and I have already received my deposit back!!! Wahooo!
Alas, I have to give it all to the OH for my half of the deposit on our place (2 months rent for deposit there instead of one).
So, I have made a PAD today of €875!! I obtained an exchange rate from oanda.com for today of 0.85641, which makes the sterling equivalent of £749.36!!
I hope this can be included as a PAD, as I view it as one, but I understand if you choose not to include it.
Have a good day all!February wins: Theatre tickets0 -
