True I am afraid he does not have a padders heart
He thinks that a few "pennies" here and there are not enough, just makes me more determined to prove him wrong :T
My OH was the same til he realised that padding is awesome!!
Well, he never said it was awesome coz he doesn't 'get it' but I've cleared a cc and the council made a huge f**k up when collecting our water charges then turned round and asked us for nearly £600 (although we got a £200 refund after we paid it as a good will gesture) so I've paid that aswel, also managed to do a few bits of xmas shopping (we'll forget about the cc incident the other day as I did use cash for some things)
Back to the point I was trying to make...
OH is now seeing sense when it comes to padding, he is also quite amazed at how much we were wasting before so here's to proving the non believers wrong! :beer:Started PADdin' 13/04/09 paid £7486.66 - CC free 02/11/10

I have been reading your thread with interest as it is such good idea. I'd really like to start doing this.
Can I ask a silly question please ?
How do you actually as in physically pay off the money from the debts ??
Sorry I'm really knew to all this
Cheers
Hiya,
Welcome to the madhouse! (TERRI - I know that's normally your line but you're not here!)
There's all kind of ways of getting the cash, from selling things on ebay to rounding down your bank account everyday. For Example...if you've got £23.15 in your account, you could pay the £3.15 to a credit card.
Alot of the people on here use internet banking to send payments to credit cars everyday and I think there might be someone saving to give a big lump sum to their loan.
I think ANDY is using the money he would of spent on fags as his pads now (he stopped 4weeks ago I think!)
Or you could put your spare change into a jar - it's entirely up to you!

Thanks for all your input guys, i really do wish i could tell them to f off but i know they wont back down. Any hoo i've just done my sums and i should still be able to pay between £50-£100 extra off my loan (if i'm good;)), it could be worse. Must stay positive!
