Hi Northstar, you go away for 5 mins and I've got some spare time tonight to chat. Housework done ready for hubby coming home, not thinking about DMP for one night so thought I'd pop on here and sit down and relax. Noticed your tactfull message about getting back on track. Not had any calls tonight apart fromone company trying to flog me an IVA. Soon put them in their place!

It was all about how to save money with shopping, so everyone was giving ideas on how to empty basics into branded bottles etc (for those OHs who werent keen on switching brands), how to save on toilet paper, all sorts of stuff, it was really good but can I find it???? Can I heck! Anyone here subscribe to anything that sounds like that please? I thought I found it today but the last posts were all about making a cake made out maltesers so I left it. (the temptation was just too great!

Aah, Ian, you are very good at perking people up. You have answered me a few times and have always made me feel better.
I will let you all in on a little secret, I have thanked you all many times but I thought to thank people you had to say thanks in a reply. I didnt know there was a thanksbutton to press!!! I wondered how someone knew how many thanks you had received lol:idea: LBM 23-10-2009 - Total unsecured debt £39,638.65 _pale_

I have to admit I've never subscribed to a thread. I just bookmark the first page of this thread then go to the last page everytime.
Anyhoo, a couple of threads:
Downshifting:

Disguised own brands:

And old style cleaning:

Then you've got all the old style thrift threads. I don't think they're the ones you were looking for Northstar, as I can't find it either. Gargh!DMP mutual support thread No: 2430 -

Oh I don't have an issue with helping people out, it's the perky personal stuff I can't do (I think it's cos I'm a bloke)...
Anyhoo, just want to say I love you all, and you've made my late night (after difficult evening classes, and a quick jog after) more interesting...DMP mutual support thread No: 2430 -
