Wanted to say thanks to Geoffmr1 and others for replies about CCA's. Not sure I would ever be that brave!
Sent all paperwork off to CCCS last week just waiting now for next step, not sure how long it takes to actually get it up and running.
Will think about reclaiming bank charges after DMP set up, not sure where even to start with this though it just seems a minefield, any suggestions for answers to this on forums or website?
Thanks again. TF
Also assuming our DMP gets going can I have a number please!

We had a letter from Moorcroft yesterday saying that our HSBC visa debt has been passed to them - funny because all our other HSBC accounts were passed to Metropolitan.
I was just wondering what other peoples experiences of them have been like?Debt free Olympic Contender # 134DMP Mutual Support Thread member # 250DMP March 2010 [STRIKE]£9786 [/STRIKE] now £9900 -
Hello,
Can I please join you.
Brief history - been on a DMP since Aug 07, debt at start £83k, now on £56k. Still a long way to go, but the DMP is probably best thing I ever did, (getting in debt in the first place probably being the worse).

Has anyone had a letter from next asking to sign a letter so that they can start the payment arrangement and a new credit agreement to sign? I am not signing the credit agreement as why would they do this, feeling a bit suspicious!
Just wondering on peoples thoughts. Not too fussed as squirrled enough away to pay this off as a very low balance about £100 nowbut I know CCCS dont like you doing this.

Hi just wondering if anyone had the same as me, this a copy of the e-mail sent to CCCS, I'm pannicking never had a letter from solicitors before!!
Hello I have arrived home today to find a letter from SCM Solicitors to say that Lloyds have passed my account xxx over to them. I called 0845600xxx as requested and got through to a man who started talking about my other Loan account with them xxx1 , he said that the agreement had been made to make payment at the end of September, I explained that my plan was starting in October so they would get the first payment at the end of Oct, he then requested that I ask you to resend another letter confirming payments, budget sheet etc. He then passed me over to another man called Matt xx (his contact no 0845600xxxx) who said that the reason I had got the letter about the loan account ending xxx was because my proposals were too small. He asked me to up the payments by £5, I said I couldn't at this time but I have started a new job so my increase in wages will be coming through in the next month or so. He said he would put a note onto the account and for me to contact him when I could afford more then he will try and stop charges etc. Please could you advise me on this.

Hi
Short update, after 7 weeks into my DMP, Hitachi have sent me a default notice, I assume I should let the CCCS know, is there anything else I need to do?
I might be able to scrape about 55-60% of the balance, is it worth a F&F offer at this stage?
On a brighter note, met with CAB this week, they will start trying to get me on a DAS

Hmm, I have Moorcroft dealing with my Nationwide OD (500 or so quid). I've heard they're quite obnoxious, but weren't too bad when I spoke to them. They've stopped interest, and not heard too much since.DMP mutual support thread No: 2430
