That sounds remarkably unfair Mrs R as you're gonna be stuck in a vicious circle! Have you spoken to Kensington about it?
Morning everyone, bit quiet on here recently?DMP mutual support thread No: 2430 -
Morning ianmak and everyone :hello:
I can't believe it, no posts at all yesterday! Maybe we all hit lottery jackpot on Wednesday night
Well I have a busy weekend ahead of me trying to get my business accounts in order and decorating my living room (which I started 2 months ago) then maybe if I get it all done I will feel justified in cracking a bottle of the strong stuff tonight
Hope you all have a more exciting weekend than me,

Have just got me and my slipped disc going for the morning-my spine and I are planning on another dazed painkiller combi day in the Twilight Zone. Your weekend sounds fabulous! Have a good one everybody :wave:0 -
Good morning,
Haven't posted for ages but would like to share some good news, start a full time job on 1st of November. After six month living on my wife's salary it will be nice to contribute and pay the debt back sooner.
Going back to Payplan armed with more cash available, generally what is your guys experience of how the creditors act? All but two have passed the accounts to DCA so I guess this is good. I need to read more posts as I'm out of practice......
cheers,DMP # 280

Hiya
Update from me , haven't written for a while as nothing has really happened?! My wages went into my safe account at the end of september so I contacted Payplan to let them know to go ahead with all my creditors (they wanted to hold back with Barclays just incase my payroll department fudged it all up)!! I have had LOADS of phones calls all from Barclaycard and Egg and Barclaycard keep texting me as well but i'm just ignoring them now as I have told both of them about the DMP i'm only telling them once! Haven't had anything from any of my MBNA cards (apart from a default notice on the bottom of my statement) but then 2 days ago I had a missed call on my mobile from a company called RMA?? and then this morning a letter from them saying they are writing to me to get payment for my overdue Alliance and Leicester card - I only paid Payplan my first payment on the 6th October so they will only just be sending off offers of payment should I just ignore this letter or call them and let them know about the DMP?? Or is it nothing to do with them as I haven't even heard of this company - not sure whether just to call MBNA, A+L and Virgin just to let them know although I suspect this won't stop the letters!!
Any advice greatly appreciated. It's my birthday tomorrow and i'm out for dinner tonight so not going to let it bother me for now!!!Goal weight....lighter than when I started0 -
Hi ianmak, it does sound pretty unfair doesnt it? They were quite fair in accepting when I told them the reasons for falling behind (severe overcommitment - 13 creditors ) I only got the statement t'other day so I havent had a chance to speak to Kensington yet but will give them a call Monday.

Hi
I have just returned to a letter concerning my recent communication. That communication was a typed letter stating I am on DMP and advising them to contact CCCS, I did not sign this letter. They state that they cannot match my signature and to call into a local bank and advise them to sort out when I have done so. What are they going onabout is this a trick to take me hostage in the bank lol. More chance of finding Lord Lucan sittin on top of Xmas tree in Woolworths than me going anyway near a bank. The letter is signed by a Senior Manager!! Wouldn't it be nice if you could speak to that level when you first asked for help?!!!! (I give up). Does anyone have any ideas what they are talking about?
Hope your all ok and have a fab night.

Still lurking in the shadows and keeping up with everyone. If anyone has any tips on how I can get these darn accounts closed!! They keep confirming on the phone that they will "click the button" to close and then I have followed them up with letters but woe and behold I received this months statements, almost like ladys troubles on the dot once a month. They all have £0.00 on them and no more piddly bits of interest, but please close them!! I really dont know what else to do except apply for cards and max the darn things out (thats just me being funny!) HA HALBM: March, 2005
