Afternoon all, hope everyone is well. Thank you Geoffmr1 for all your helpful posts, you've been through a hell of a lot but it's so helpful to post about it for others to read.
Just an update on how my creditors are behaving so far, two months in -
Egg - Default
Post office - Default
Mint - Default and now Account Terminated but have said they will stop interest as long as I pay through Payplan
Tesco - Default and accepted payments, frozen interest
Alliance & Leicester - accepted payments and frozen interest
HSBC - I have ignored the managed loan offer thing but no interest charged on my latest statement
M & S - silence!
I'm quite keen to see how M & S will behave as it's my biggest creditor (over twelve thousand) and also the highest interest rate (25%! Rip off!), but noticed there were no overlmit or late fees on my last statement, so fingers crossed.DMP Mutual Support Thread No 336 - proud to be a number!LBM - June 20th 2009Total of Horror  - [STRIKE]£39,909[/STRIKE] August 2010 £35,421 :jDFD - Feb 2018 (approx). Hi All
I hope you are well, I haven't much to report at the moment as my DMP with CCCS is ticking along very nicely, I'm four months in now and all creditors on my plan have accepted reduced payments and all but one have frozen interest, the odd one out has given me a reduced rate so nothing to complain about at all. I now feel as though I have a life again :j and I am not thinking about money every second of every day. I still budget daily and keep track of every penny that I spend, but for the first time in decades I can see my debt reducing. Good luck to anyone who is just about to start out on the DMP track, all I can say is just do it, it's hard at first but once the dust settles you can have a new lease of life.

Hi all,
Wanted to say thanks to Geoffmr1 and others for replies about CCA's. Not sure I would ever be that brave!
Sent all paperwork off to CCCS last week just waiting now for next step, not sure how long it takes to actually get it up and running.
Will think about reclaiming bank charges after DMP set up, not sure where even to start with this though it just seems a minefield, any suggestions for answers to this on forums or website?
Thanks again. TF
Also assuming our DMP gets going can I have a number please!0 -

Hey there MD .. were ticking over... Nothing to shout about, but this month has been birthday month ... Lots of partys to attend, plus our own one to do too.
We managed to book into the local softplay centre and paid them to run ours.. £100 well spent ... 15 children entertained, fed, and cake supplied too.
Other Half has been away for the last 3 weeks again so food budget has not been completely used up either.
He eats at his work so he gets 3 meals a day, and eats what he wants, plus I made a £300 saving on this months shoping budget  with him not being here.
No contact from any Debtors.. nothing at all. all happy with what they are getting. Phone Line rental moved back to BT so thats another £1.27 a month saved .. God were on a roll!! :T
Have recycled all the unwanted christmas presents from last year, the toys have been ebayed / local press so thats a nice little nest egg put aside to cover Christmas. (Other half isnt sure if he will be working yet, so it may be a quiet one this year anyway)
Right, time to enjoy a glass of wine (found a bottle under the stairs during a clearout!)LBM - Oct - 08 DMP Started - Feb -09

After my worry about Marbles they sent a statement yesterday saying my minimum payment was the CCCS proposal and estimated interest £0 - I am so so so very grateful!! Plus they didnt add on any interest for last month either so my last payment of £250 counted as just that.
yay! :T:T:T
My halifax overdraft doesnt seem to be getting hit with charges atm for being over the limit slightly. So i'm hoping that one is ok too.
The only ones left would be joint items with my Ex.
I cant wait for that first payment to be made and see these things going down instead of nowhere!Hey, Soul Sister0
