  • I've been on my DMP for 2 months now and Lloyds have just wrote to me today asking me to fill in income and expenditure form. They should have had one from Payplan already so should I ignore it or fill in their form??

    Thanks

  • It's up to you about the I&E requests really. either you can send them a copy yourself (but make sure it's the same as CCCS or PP sent) OR speak to CCCS or PP and get them to send it again OR ignore it!

Personally i'd ignore it! unless they started ringing and ringing too much. or kicking up a fuss saying they still haven't received it after 2/3 months! then i'd ask PP to resend. some of them seem either completely imcompetant or complete liars tbh! and sometimes still claim not to have received it when it's been sent numerous times and to numerous (given) contacts/ways!

    Hello!!

Thought i'd share my good news for the day.
Our second biggest debt (our biggest being lloyds which we are having endless problems with regarding interest still being added after 4 years), which was Abbey but is now with a dca, sent us a statement today, and all interest has been stopped and in 18months this debt will be cleared. Was 15000, now 5000. Yay!! This was when our dmp was due to finish, but won't now because of Lloyds. But at least in 18 months this extra money can go towards paying off Lloyds quicker.
    Woohoo.

Got to take the good news when it comes hey, no matter how small it is :)

Great news Mozzyc re: Abbey. I hate Lloyds, still adding interest to my debt also, the only creditor to still be doing this, apparently they do not stop interest at all. At least it's at a reduced amount, but why can't they stop it all together like the others and give us a chance to pay the bloody thing off.

Oh well, we can only go upwards, there's light at the end of the tunnel and when I've paid all money, will never, ever touch another credit card, will be a cash only person, if I don't have it, will save for it.

    Good luck

They will have had one from payplan. I have said before with creditors that one hand doesnt know what the other one is doing!!! Hence the ridiculous phone calls!

Lloyds even sent me a I&E form when I sent the the last payment to close the account! Now how daft is that??

    Hi all,

Had hard day at work today and came home to a letter from barclaycard loan saying that they have issued a default notice which I should receive shortly. They have decide after consideration, not to accept my offer of payment via cccs. They are closing the account and forwarding it to the Bank's recovery department.
What does this mean? Am totally stressed out.

  • Hi fellow DMP-ers - newbies, oldies and erm those sort of in the middle like me! :D

I've posted this as a new thread but thought I'd ask directly on the DMP mutual support thread as well.

Does anyone have any info on how expenditure guidelines are worked out, please? For example how much is acceptable under 'clothing and footwear' for a single person with 1 dependent?

At the bottom of my CCCS DMP budget sheet or 'Client Expenditure Summary' it says "this budget is prepared in accordance with the BBA/MAT expenditure guidance'. I've Googled this but without much success.

As you can guess, I'm having trouble with my CCCS budget! I don't want to max all my figures (although tempted :rotfl:) because I'll be shooting myself in the foot and it will take even longer than the current 7 years to pay off my DMP, but at the moment it all seems such a struggle and I think I've underestimated my figures as it all seems much too tight. I know it's supposed to 'pinch abit', and I am cutting costs where possible but I seem to be worrying about money 24 hours a day at the mo.
Thanks in anticipation for any help.
