Citi (£45) £6.59
Next (£85) £12.46
Lloyds cc (£257) £37.66
Cap 1 (£240) £35.17
Lloyds Loan (£165) £24.18
Lloyds Loan (£174) £25.50

RBC CC (£69) £10.11
Lloyds O/D (£55) £8.06
Lloyds O/D (£10) £5
A&L O/D (£35) £5.13:eek:
We're paying only a small amount each month compared to what we SHOULD be paying. I became a little 'hung up' on the % of what I was paying at the beginning, I even remember posting on here asking for what % other people were paying of there 'contractual' payment..............worse thing I could have done as I was paying the least!!!! All good with me though, all accepted dmp offers bar 1 now as have just rec'd letter from MBNA re 2 cards of my hubby to say that they are now prepared to accept that we are in financial hardship and will stop ALL charges and interest......................hooray!!! Just up to you now HSBC to make it a full house!
Anyway, try not to worry about what may happen..............what will be will be and one of the most common sayings on here is 'to remember they can't have what you haven't got'.
Keep positive, you're ALL doing the right thing and it'll come good in the end.

Hi
Thanks to everyone for their messages of support. I will be a regular on here now. So thanks again and I will let you know what happens!!

Hi
Short Update, kept on getting calls from Hitachi about missing payment, all started only 2 days after payment date, tried to explain situation, but they would not accept CCCS offer, about 35% of original monthly payment. I send of a copy of my CCCS budget to show them I was paying all I can afford. Got two letters from them, one to say they are not accepting the reduced payment, the second to inform me that they are charging me £25 for being in arrears.
Does anybody know what will happen next ? Will they pass onto a DCA ?

Haven't been on the board for ages but just wanted to see how people are getting on.
I am 4 months into my DMP and can honestly say to the people just starting out or thinking about going down this avenue, that it is the best thing I could have ever done.
I was losing sleep, stressed out and thinking my future was a bleak hole of debt but the DMP has given me financial structure and help and a light at the end of the tunnel.
MBNA have been the last ones to accept - which I expected after reading this thread - but at last now the constant calls have stopped.
To be honest, I was a scaredy cat and never answered my phone plus I also didn't take too much notice of the automated letters sent out (all info gleaned from this excellent thread and the wonderful folk on it).
If you have the time, read this thread and previous ones, you will find so much support and advice and NO judgment or nastiness at all.
I've got about 4 or 5 years on my DMP which is longer than some, shorter than others but I cannot recommend it enough.
xxxProud to be dealing with my debts

Morning all, I feel so much better knowing I have found this forum. Could I ask a question please?. When I spoke to the lady at CCCS, she obviously knew her stuff and within minutes it was "right you pay this a month" and thats it!.. You can't reply to emails, If I phone I can't get through. My head is obviously mashed and I just feel I am wandering round in the dark not knowing what to do.
Have I done everything right so far could anyone advise please?
I have set up a new bank account (not linked to any debts).
I have informed essential debts of the above.
I have sent letters to creditors advising of the dmp.
I have sent the bulk of stuff back to cccs.
I have made token payments of £20 to each debtor until it is up and running.
Oh and I have turned the ringer off on my phone as they have already started!
I am self employed so really in a panic that I am going to be able to meet all the payments etc, as I rely on sales to get my money in. (stress!!). I said I was going to take on an extra job to help with essential bills but they told me that if I do that every penny with go on the DMP. Noooo!!
I have a business account so have carried on with a personal loan linked to the same bank. I am in the process of setting up new business bank account but not holding out much hope as they do a credit check and with me just paying token payment last month this is bound to be shot now!!.
Is there anything else that I should of done, but missed?
Thanks again everyone and hopefully I will come out of this black hole soon!!.

Thanks for the advice, Kudox, and the warm welcome! Hi to everyone whos' posts I've been reading. It's so true that all the advice, help and support really make all the difference. We've just started with Payplan (the first payment is Oct 1st) we got an update call to say all our creditors have been contacted. Yikes! Now the fun starts. Desert Island anyone?:j:hello::hello::jDMP mutual support thread member 3480

Don't worry about this too much (as it's a bit late now), but you should only send token payments of £1 to each creditor, as if the DMP starts, and they're receiving less than that £20 a month, they may want to know why.
It also allows you to build up a slush fund before the start of the DMP.
Other than that, it all looks good.
Good luck!DMP mutual support thread No: 2430 -
