Metropolitan Collection services have now transferred 2 of our debts to their solicitors.
They took exception to the fact that they got a reduced payment for a month!
CCCS did inform them but they denying that.
I've also written MCS and the solicitors saying to only contact me in writing as they ring a ridiculous number times a day and at silly times as well.
First thing I do whenever I get any letters of a creditor is check with CCCS and they tell me how to deal with it - it's usually bully boy tactics.

Mozzyc I would cancel the PPI, in writing, before you start to claim it back. I wouldn't do it over the phone as they could always deny that you had asked to cancel it.
I think it's always best to do stuff in writing really.
Silly Sarah, welcome to this great thread. Sounds to me like you're pretty much doing all you should be at this stage, try not to worry too much about the phone calls, just tell them you're on a DMP with cccs, give them the ref number and leave it at that, don't allow them to bully you on the phone.
Good luck with everything.
Thanks Kudox for the advice! Appreciate it!!
Will do that as soon as, cheers :0DFD February 2012

Well it's official now. Have just completed the forms from CCCS and will post them tomorrow, will also post the letters to the creditors with the token payments. Silly Sarah, my situation sounds similar to yours, never missed a payment but have gone way over the overdraft to keep up to date, so like you don't know what to expect in the way of phone calls.
Have to say the advice on this thread has been brilliant, only wish I read it years earlier!!

Hi everyone, I havent been on the post for a while so just catching up really...Ive been on my DMP for a year now, and all going well except i have just realised that i have been getting charged for PPI from Sky credit card which i didnt know about, i have been making payments to them of approx £2 a month and they have been charging me £3 something for insurance!!!...My balance has gone up instead of down even though the interest was stopped last year...Had a right go at the lady on the phone, i explained that i was unaware that i had this insurance blah blah blah, anyway its been cancelled now but does anyone know if i can claim the charges back, and also what other charges can i claim back on my other creditors???...am trying to save a little on the side so that eventually i can make some f&F settlements, i have read on some posts that you can knock them down to 30% of the balance!!!

Well there's no point in worrying as nothing can be done till you speak to them! I know that's easier said than done though...DMP mutual support thread No: 2430 -
Morning All,
Payday is always a good day:j
I am such an early bird I have already transferred monies I needed to, done my budget spreadsheet and updated my signature. The signature thing is also making me smile as my debt is £1000 less since I started, yaaaaaayyy! This is the first time in ever, i think, that my balance has been reducing so onward and upward
Still having problems with Citi cards but at least they've stopped phoning me again, Barclayloan and Halifax have reduced interest and all others have stopped and I am learning to be frugal, at last! Last month even managed to save the money I need for my car service and tyres.
Start my promotion on the first too so having my CCCS review at some point in Sept so that I can up my payments.
Hope this post isn't too cheesy but I'm feeling positive today and was hoping to pass the vibes on.
Take Care

Morning all!
Had a letter from Capital 1 yesterday saying my account has been set upon a reduced payment plan but also enclosing a default notice. Is this standard practice? Do I need to do anything?
Thanks

Thats positive Sarah, i'm not sure about the default though. I'm just in the first steps of my DMP so i'm just waiting for a response from all my creditors now.March 2017 - Debt Free- cleared £21,750
