Weekend 6-7/6/09 What small dfw things have you done this weekend?

hi all...

well my weekend has been ok....

so far this month i have made £52 on ebay, and today listed some more items..
i also charged my phone at work so havent had to charge it at home this weekend.
i nearly had a no spend day, but got dragged to church fete by children!!

i did buy some books, but they are almost brand new, and once read they shall be sold on ebay

Did I say I had a hot date? Mmmmm mmmmm mmmmmm I think it is quite safe for me to say that he has moved from my lovely man to have a status: my lovely boyfriend . Sorry no brain cells working so floating away.... Oh and very DFW as I am too much in to eat...

• Switched the landing light off as its light Im an evil mum I know lol but I think they can find their way to the loo in this light...
• Checked banking
• Checked quidco and Waterstones has validated already, albeit at zero
• Washed 2 loads on quick and put on line, a few thibgs dried, will put rest back out tomorrow
• Did some gardening, planted out veg, put down some decorative slabs as stepping stones
• Watered seed trays and salad trough
• 2 youngest shared bath water
• Removed shower 'smart' as its not so smart!
• Put a cardy on rather than heating
• Tomorrows dinner out of freezer
• Got cheap tubs for plants and rosemary and wall planters for my tumbling toms
• Meals from stores
• Eaten some bananas before they go over
• Stuck to my diet

I would like to achieve:
Tidy my room and vacuum
Put clothes away - been a bit neglected and my room has loads of piles of clothes in it
Get the kids to finish off their rooms for their pocket money
Start bagging up the charity shop pile of clothes
Get OH to sort through sock basket and pair them up or ship them out :cool:


Will update as I go!

Not sure how much more I will achieve as I am pooped! I need to complete an application form for job that closes tomorrow, will check deadline and might do it in the morning.

Looks like you all had a productive day

Thanks to all of you for your good wishes for mum's birthday. We spent the whole morning preparing and hoping that the rain would stop. Thankfully it did. We all had a great time and there was so much food. We left mum and dad at about 12:30 and will go back later today to help them with the final sorting of stuff out (and to help out with the leftovers ).



Today I will:

• [STRIKE]Washing HC[/STRIKE] 3 loads - 2 on airer and one to do on a break from the job application

• Ironing
• Apply for a job - the closing date is tomorrow morning!
• [STRIKE]Scratchies[/STRIKE] 2 x 10p
• [STRIKE]Pay auntie for cakes and goodies[/STRIKE]
• Possibly visit potential wedding venue - OH has never seen it and its getting quickly booked for May next year!

I'm sure that there's loads more but I need to ensure that I get the bare minumum done.

Hi Everyone

Am just taking a break from filling in the job application and thought I'd see how much more I have to do.
We didn't get to go to the wedding venue - we were helping mum and dad get order back in the house (and to give out leftover food) and got stuck in REALLY bad traffic. It took us over 2 hours to do a short job! :rolleyes: We'll go next week.

On the plus side - I have had a no spend day and dad let me keep some change for an errand so I have fed that into the sealed pot!
