    Good morning everyone

Looks like you all had a productive day

Thanks to all of you for your good wishes for mum's birthday. We spent the whole morning preparing and hoping that the rain would stop. Thankfully it did. We all had a great time and there was so much food. We left mum and dad at about 12:30 and will go back later today to help them with the final sorting of stuff out (and to help out with the leftovers :D).

    Today I will:
    • Catch up on the washing up
    • Washing HC
    • Strip bed
    • Ironing
    • Apply for a job - the closing date is tomorrow morning!
    • Scratchies
    • Pay auntie for cakes and goodies
    • Possibly visit potential wedding venue - OH has never seen it and its getting quickly booked for May next year!
I'm sure that there's loads more but I need to ensure that I get the bare minumum done.

Catch up with you all later.

    urg x x

    • Take chicken out of freezer fo fajitas for tea
    • Sort out post to do list (bills etc)
    • Watch cricket on telly this evening
    • Look at wedding to do list and try to make another list to get back up to speed with things
    • Hoover car if it stops raining
That's the lot for today - have a good one!

    Morning all!

Lots I want to get done this weekend so am going to post it all here and hope it motivates me to do a much as possible! Will come back for an update later.
    • [STRIKE]check online banking - done for today[/STRIKE] today's done as well
    • [STRIKE]scratch - done for today[/STRIKE] as above
    • [STRIKE]clicks - done for today[/STRIKE] as above
    • [STRIKE]pick up several parcels from P.O[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]pick up dry cleaning[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]go for my eye test and don't forget vouchers[/STRIKE] remembered the vouchers but spent a shocking amount on new frames:eek:. Got free sunglasses though....
    • [STRIKE]have a mooch around a few charity shops [/STRIKE]and pound shops and hopefully get a few bargains - mooched, but didn't find what I was looking for and resisted temptation to bring back more books (I already have far too many)
    • [STRIKE]to some grocery shopping - have some bits in already so going to try to keep a lid on it and not spend more than £10-ish[/STRIKE] spent £12 so a bit over budget..
    • make some headway on a few job aplications
    • [STRIKE]got someone coming round to collect some stuff from freecycle hopefully[/STRIKE] lovely lady came around to pick up a pile of old magazines - she texted me after to let me know when she is finished with them they are going to her doctor's surgery so they will be recycled again, brilliant :D
    • [STRIKE]have a bit of a tidy and a de-clutter[/STRIKE] and maybe list a few more bits on freecycle - did the de-cluttering bit and found a few bits to take to the charity shop
    • [STRIKE]see if I can find anything to put on ebay/bigwardrobe[/STRIKE] nothing much for ebay but loads for bigwardrobe and have been trying to get myself some new bits and pieces for free through swapsies - loving this website at the moment!
    • got a deadline for my writer's group coming up soon so get some work done for that - had a great idea in the shower this morning!
    • speak to my mum about some plans for a trip to her holiday home in Spain with OH's family
    • try for a NSD tomorrow - so far so good
    • update blog - going to do it now
    • been thinking about this 101 list and made a start on my list so try to add to that
    • [STRIKE]check survey sites and do any that come through[/STRIKE] checked, nothing. No one wants my opinion!
Reporting progress like this is great - I had thought I hadn't done very well as I've been feeling a bit poorly and de-motivated this weekend. Looking through the list though I've managed to strike off more than I thought.

My de-cluttering spree has turned up trumps - found a half-used tub of moisturiser so that will save me buying more this week and found a big biscuit tin full of loose change we didn't know we had. Haven't counted yet but looks like about £15-20 in there. Plus, found Euro notes and coins secreted about the bedroom - I have obviously been stashing these for a while and forget all about them. Got EUR45 in total!!! Am off to Netherlands next month with OH so that's going to the holiday fund. :T

Hope everyone is having a great weekend!
