    Monring all!
Feeling fed up and fat today so I'm trying to give myself a good lick up teh bum to get on with things today....
    • Check banks
    • Only eat food from home
    • Stick to diet!
    • Walk my dog x3 (one down 2 to go)
    • Walk Scooby the Great Dane
    • Clean the bathrooms
    • Do a meal plan
    • Do a little bit of ironing
    • Go out tonight but not drink - good for diet and bank account
    • Try and buy a present for friend that's just had a baby 6 weeks early
    • Watch rugby on telly
    • Tidy up bedroom
    • Not spend any unnecessary cash....
That's it for today - not very exciting is it?!

    Hi guys

Weekly check in, although I was away last weekend so may not have been here for a fortnight? Not sure. Anyway.

Things to keep me debt free today:

Insist to OH that we don't need to go shopping today and use up what we have in the fridge instead. Do need to buy milk but since I have given up dairy I will only buy a small milk as OH keeps buying bigger ones that go off.

Working at PT job this morning for money to go into ISA, supervisor didn't turn up so I am doing supervisor tasks meaning I get paid slightly more. :D

Need to clean the house today as OH is getting tetchy about the state of the place, I am as well but not letting it show as there isn't really much we can do about it at the moment as we can't afford to move.

Sort out holiday money as going away for a few days next weekend - yay! Hope the weather holds though...

    Scratchies - 2 x 10p

    I think that's all! x

Hi everyone - I have been enjoying a Dirty Weekend today:eek: Unfortunately not that sort. T and I have been taking part in the BBC Dirty Weekend for Springwatch - planting lots of lovely foxgloves in some local fields and hunting for worms. Lovely!

    1) Dirty Weekend was free and T got a free goody bag for taking part. We also had our pictures taken for the paper.

    2) T and I went to a fete this afternoon at the school T is starting in Sep and spent about £2.

    3) B is at a birthday sleepover so won't see her til tomorrow. That is always Moneysaving. :rotfl:

    4) I've been doing my daily scour of ebay and classifieds for a bike for T's birthday. Time is running out! I've found what looks a good contender on ebay, but am waiting to hear back from the seller about the size. Fingers crossed!

    5) SC x 10p

    6) Took a packed lunch out with us.

    7) Recieved some Lego in the post from ebay for T's bday.

Can't think of anything else .....

    Enjoy your saturday!
    L x
  • Hi there everyone!!! :hello: hope your all having a fab weekend!!!

Will have a good in depth look at your lists later on but just a quick fly by visit for me!!

Having a dilema.... what do you keep and what do you get rid of even your one of these who likes to keep everything and cant be bothered to go through it all at once as your on a mission to change bedrooms..........

shall i just do the major moving this weekend then go through everything individually a bit at a time, maybe do it a coupel of evenings a week......

    my concentration span is terrible!

    anyway today:
    • handwashed 4 items
    • one load of washing
    • line drying all washing
    • listed one item on ebay
    • some ironing
    • cleared one wardrobe
    • broke up a unit had in bedroom to chuck as broken
    • made a bootsale pile
    • made a loft pile
    • got dinner bits out of freezer
    • found a lovely top in back of wardrobe for summer
    • started an organised box to put listed ebay items in
really should look at online banking but am scared at the moment. i am meant to be going out for sisters lunch tomorrow and council tax due out and dont think i have the money in account for both. so scared! i need to really sort my budgeting out by next payday.

    hiya

Thiught Id join in to get motivated, Ive been DF for ages but need to raise some extra cash

    So far I have
Chosen the cheapest food I could get whilst out.
Went for a hair appointment but I did do that - put it off trick- where yu turn 13 weeks between apps into 17 weeks :D
Walked back from Covent garden to home so saved 1.80
put some food back in the shop then walked out as it wasnt a need ( havnet managed to do this in a while)
wen tto chinese supermarket to buy thier prawn toast instead of supermarkets, much cheaper
entered loads of comps in the hope of winning something to sell
    eating from the stores tonight!
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast
