    Hello!

I am back from London and had fab time with my old friends. We have been friends since we were 15 until 10 years ago after me moving countries we lost contact. And they paid for lunch. AND tomorrow I have very hot lunch date and I didn't have to buy new clothes as weather is not hot and can go in my comfy jeans. After coming home DD didn't want supper and just went straight to bed and tomorrow my friends are going to feed her while I am on my date. Off now to clean all the animals before retiring for the day. Need to do mad tidy up and more hokey cokey tomorrow morning before dashing to the farm show.

Wishing you fab rest of the Saturday evening.

    Marru

hi, this weekend i shall be:
got a load of washing done on a quick wash, dried mostly outside but one bit got hit by the birds so it's back in the wash for it.
took some craft stuff over to my mum's for her neighbour to rumage through - sold £20 quids worth so that a good start ready for next weekends table top sale.
got some dining room chairs reduced (been living with 3 archaic ones for years looking for the right ones at the right price) at least we can now have two guests at a time.
done scratchard will do again tomorrow.
been watching borrowed dvd's and reading borrowed books.
got a fab new laundry bin for £5 instead of £15, will try and sell the old one at the sale, was very good though, walked away from a £50 one reduced down to £35 ( i mean it's for dirty washing!!!)
taught myself to crochet flowers to use on scrapbook layouts rather than buying them, may even make spares to sell.
Oh also got to make 2 fathers days cards tomorrow

    Morning All,

Dull and wet here in sunny North Hampshire! – need stripy socks to brighten up my day!

    Today I have/will
    • [STRIKE]Checked lottery – nothing (oh well)
    • Checked banking and moved money
    • Updated spreadsheet (everything now shows as ‘paid’)
    • As it is a Saturday, I am treating myself to ‘proper’ coffee rather than instant (having said that, it is Basics)
    • Completed P46 [/STRIKE]and need to do a spreadsheet to explain the last year’s employment activity to give to the tax office to get a refund
    • Need to fill in the JSA booklet to advise them that I have a job
    • [STRIKE]Go to M&S and get a refund on some tops I’d bought for work (I can get away with wearing smart t-shirts, which is quite handy as I am size 24 and shirts do not look good)[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]Decide whether or not to go with hubby when he has his tattoo this afternoon (I cant stand the sound)[/STRIKE] - I didn't go with him, but got my eyes tested instead! Mind you, total cost £130 including 2for1 glasses and an eye test (incl. picture of eye as there is a history of high cholesterol, diabeties etc in our family)
    • Do some college work (exam on Tuesday. We had a mock exam given back to us last week, and there are some areas I need to work on)
    • Read the paper at the library
    • Avoid the lottery website
    • Use cash wherever possible
    • [STRIKE]Re-cover my sealed pot (had to break it open last month to pay bills)[/STRIKE]
    • Read a week’s worth of this thread
    • Catch up on shows online

Think that is about it, take care everyone and have a good weekend.

    Additional things today:
    • Decide whether to drive to WW. I know that it is not going to be a good result, but on the other hand, at least I will know what the damage is
    • Going food shopping today. I have made a list and will stick to it
    • Have an early night as I am tired
    • Chill as it is Sunday

    Have a good Sunday
