if you are in any way assocaited with this company, you need to remove URL.

if you are not associated with them, thenyou can do very much the same here for the cost of a £1 postal order and a registered letter.

  • Sorry this not advertising I have nothing to do with the company. I just wanted to know if any one has used them and if they were successul?

I didn't want to cause any offence.

The Office of Fair Trading has put out an alert telling people not to use this sort of company, basically.

There was an article in the Guardian last week where a company was charging lots to take on cases and then more if they won. The only two, out of 4,000 people who had signed u who had won had recieved just enough to pay off the fees to the claim handler, so they go little if anything back them selves.

In the same article two major banks indicated that they wil not deal with claim handlers, but they will respond to individual request regarding CCAs.

Loads of people here do it and it costs £2 per card. why pay mor?

  • Hi to you all,
I recently had a call from a company calling themselves Bankcharge Specialist, the operator went on to say that loans taken out between 1997 and 2007 had a 70% chance of being "legally incomplete" and therefore written off. The company charge £458.00 inc VAT per loan investigated, they check the loan and if it does not complie to section 78 of the consumer credit act then it can be written off - with no blot on your credit record. If the loan is legal then they refund all but £100.00 of your fees. All sounds way too good but they did go into detail about solicitors freezing one of my loans and on average taking 6-9 months to complete.
Has anyone had a similar offer or know about section 78? maybe all a last straw type of offer, let me and all of us know.....

Its a CCA request and if if the CCA doesn't firt the legal requirements then it is unenforcable,, or something like that

Yep, if it sounds too good it usually is.

Why pay that amount of money when for the price of postage and £1.00 postal order, you can do it for yourself?

BTW, forgot to add - the loans don't get written off, just become unenforecable.

That, DiD, is an excellent point and suggests that the advertising of these 'companies' is doubly misleading. Trading Standards ??

    Hey all,

I've tried searching this forum for any information about the above-named website, but to no avail.

Can anyone shed any light on it's validity? Has anybody used their services. Are they to be recommended or should they be avoided?

I'm tempted, but I want to find out more about other peoples experiences or advice before I cough up £550.

Thanks in advance and apologies if there is a thread about this elsewhere, I couldn't find.
