You're paying rent to your OH - £312.50. Is that half the mortgage?

If you can't cut back on haircuts/clothes have you looked at getting a cheaper mobile phone contract or switching to Pay-as-you-go? £50 a month for presents also seems very high.
Saving for a house deposit and associated costs:

    £7750/£30000 = 25.83%

How does your OH feel about your debt. Does he know about it? Does he know how much your haircuts mean to you?

The reason i'm asking is because I was wondering if he might come to some temporary arrangement with you, until you get your debt paid off. Could you maybe ask him if you could reduce your rent for a while, and you could compromise by cutting back a bit on your haircuts. Just to show some willing on your part too. I know it's not ideal but it is just an idea.

i dont need a lbm as its only 2200 and i have no other debt
Then why bother posting your SOA?

You want to reduce your outgoings - but you don't want to reduce the main one.

!!!!!! was the point in coming here...

he is fine with it as he says its none of his business he knows what my hair cuts mean to me and he sees no problem with the amount that i pay. As he already has told me its not a problem if i dont pay the £312 he doesnt need it.

Martin Lewis' advice is Please be nice to Moneysavers.

Exactlly. OP is being rude to posters trying to help. And you report me?!

When people help you out it is nice to be polite and say thank you, not be rude in return.

I'm not surprised when I read new posters saying this board is unwelcoming at times. Normal manners seem to escape some people.

I have not called names but I have said how I view the posters very rude attitude. The other posters in this thread have been very helpful and polite.

Then you have answered your own question really...

Use the amount to pay your debt. Then pay your rent when you are able to again.

I said you were coming across as a Brat. That is not calling you a Brat.

Look at how you have replied to the posters offering help... Not very nice, in my opinion.
