Are you thinking they don't understand I am only young and I love my hair? Well ask yourself if you wan to clear your debt? If you could reduce your hair spends to £50 ( still 3 times my spend and I have highlights - although I am mousy and roots don't show too bad) then that is £50 to chuck at your debt with another couple of changes debt could be gone in 6 - 9 months with relatively little pain. Do you have a friend who is a haridresser who could do it for you at home for a couple of bottles of wine and the dye?

That is a phenomenal amount to be spending on your hair. Why do your highlights need doing every month - your hairdresser must rub her hands with glee when you come in! My highlights and cut are £55 and that is for 3 colours and foil and that seems expensive I have them done 4 times a year. Do you think that your hairdresser puts too many highlights in? If they need doing that often you might be better to have an all over colour that would be cheaper and roots done every month/ 6 weeks.

I came on here to discuss my SOA and get advice which i got in the second post not to be slated about how much my hair costs. You make it sound like i am a mug which i am not i love getting my hair done and i couldnt go with out having my hair cut 4 times a year.

This was my first post after being told that the MSE website is helpful apart from the 2nd post i have yet to see this

The problem is you're yet to have a true LBM. Once you have then you will see how ridiculous it is to be spending £100 p/m on getting your haircut. As others have said, even if you halve the amount you spend on haircuts over the next year, you could clear your credit card.

You need to decide what you want more, spending over the odds on prettifying yourself or clearing your debts.

    Laura,
With respect, we are discussing your SOA. Haircuts is on there, yes?
And it leaps out to everyone as an area you can cut back and make massive savings, which is the question you asked. Yes?
And we've also told you several other things you could cut back on.
Nobody is slating you or being personal.
If you choose to ignore our suggestions for whatever reasons, then fine. That's up to you.

It may only be £2200 but if you continue to pay just £40 a month it will take you 11 years to clear your debt!

It is your choice, but as others said its alot of money you can get haircut much cheaper than that

I wouldn't normally come on here but you seem hell bent on claiming to be a victim of abuse

Please tell me how are you being abused. Feel free to report any such abuse, by clicking on the red triangle
