    Yes.

    There are different levels of quality, and there are things like Oatmeal.

    But, basic oats for a recipe like this are porridge oats.

    Does anyone think Jumbo porridge oats would be too big for something like this recipe?

  • I use value oats in all my baking and they seem to work out fine, not sure about the Jordan's oats as I've never tried them.

    Just wanted to thank you for sharing the link to the recipe. Was looking for a yogurt topping and this is perfect. Thank you!

    ive merged this with our granola thread. Ive made thriftladys granola and it was lovely

    i only ever use value oats :)

    Thanks, I've been looking for granola recipes but they all seemed expensive. I should have tried MSE in the first place!
