if its a hobby make your own to sell and set up an etsy store.
this is what i put earlier so go and look at etsy make your jewellery and sell. this way you get to do what you like to do. in the meantime improve your attitude as people are trying to help you and take a part time job of any sort. i love etsy and if you get a good store people will recommend you to friends. i use an american based forum all the time where TONS of people buy from etsy and theres a way to get recommended as we have a section to post who weve bought from and photos etc etc which help to boost sales for all the fantastic artists that are on there.
i was made redudant and had back surgery and then a year of physio. so i went from 30k a year to nothing and we have had to live on partners wage only. i am now doing mystery shopping and other self employed work from home to save up for stock for an online business venture. before all of this i got pregnant at 18 brought a son up alone took any part time job and studied and got a degree without any help from anyone. so theres no reason to have a problem with people like me trying to help you.
btw i thanked one of your posts.... needless to say it was an accident:rolleyes:0 -
Well it seems to me, that you don't want help, you want a job handing to you on a plate, and out here in the real world, it just doesn't happen like that, people have tried to help, and all you have done is thrown a childish strop at them, as I said earlier, I am/have been depressed, and I am talking really rock bottom dizzying depths of depression here, and I have two children to care for.
I think you are just going to have to accept that your dream jewellery job is just not there at the moment, and that you are going to have to work behind a bar, clean, or whatever until you are able to find the job that you want.
People are not getting mad at you or shouting at you, they are trying to help, but for everything we say, its like hitting a brick wall as you are not open or receptive to what we are all saying.
Scuse me, have to just nip out of the thread to sort some pervs out.0 -

Debt is depressing, would you rather that?
no ,I don't want to be in debt , this is what I'm trying to say , but people didn't see , that why I said ............... forget it , I'll only get told I'm a stuipd person

No-one has said you are a stupid anything
people are trying to help, if you haven't read it because it's gone back a page, have a look at my post at the end of page 3. It's all constructive, along with many others here.
Come on head up, you'll sort it.0 -
girl in need have you read my etsy advice? as i have not seen a response and it would be the best thing for you to try alongside part time jobs .... try advertising as a dog walker, pet sitter, house sitter, baby sitter, cutting peoples lawns, doing people's ironing if you cant find retail work. just think of anyway you could make money and just try it.0

Hun, I wasn't trying to shout at you and it doesn't look to me like anyone else was. The fact is, you need a job and to get a job you need to be less picky. There's loads of suggestions on here, I think you're focussing too much on the posts that you perceive to be "nasty"! Have a look at all the ideas people have posted, that's not shouting, it's helpful. Hope you find something soon.Scar tissue that I wish you saw, sarcastic mister know it all, close your eyes and I'll kiss you cause with the birds I'll share this lonely view.0

also whilst i think of it have you tried selling your jewellery door to door? get some pieces work out what you need to charge and some special offers and go and knock on the doors. if you have access to a car do the same at a car boot sell and try to sell other things same time to cover the costs. for example share car boot price with another friend who wants to see some craft work or get some cuttings of plants from the garden and try selling them. also go to all retail shops near you and ask if they will display your jewellery or if they are interested in selling some, take photos of your jewellerry and put little cards in all the shop windows too. just think of anyway people buy stuff and try it for your items
