As a student I worked in bars, restaurants, I worked shifts at NHS24 and also did care work. Loads of students have Saturday jobs in stores, so I can't understand why you can't find anything. The options are endless really and none of these require start up costs. Sure they may no be glamorous, but they do bring in a wage.

How is that picking on you!! I think you need to lessen the sensitivity dear!! You asked for advice I gave it, I said if you wanted to sell jewellery then you probably need a start up fee - can you please pick out of that sentence EXACTLY what you call picking on you??? I even said that there was a jewellery company but couldn't think of the name!!!0 -
So then, you have NVQs in silversmithing, instead of being shirty with people that are trying to help you, get searching the net for silversmith companies and silver jewellery makers, get their details, sort out a cv and get it sent to them, possibly even send them photos of what work you have done for your course and see if there is anyone with a vacancy.
and please try and do something about your attitude, people have tried to help you, and because they seem to not give the answer that you want, you are going off at them, there is no need for it.
Meanwhile, while you are waiting to hear back from people, have a look at what else you could do, i have many skills and qualifications, but if i needed money that bad, then cleaning and working behind a bar are definately options.0 -
I'm afraid with an attitude like that, you aint going nowhere love!! You wouldn't last 2 minutes in a job!!
I am a qualified Indian Head Masseuse but I work as a secretary and sell Avon, work another part time job and also spend any spare time I have left doing surveys, focus groups etc, as I simply can't afford to drop everything to pursue my massaging career0 -

And in order to support and build my jewellery business, I am actually a phone sex operator, a text operator and an online dominatrix/humiliatrix, not what you would expect from a jewellery artist, but there you go, beads are not paying the bills, other things have to!0
