I'd like PN to do a precis of Bank of Mum and Dad, which I'm currently watching. That synopsis would be worth reading :-)
Property Snakes and Ladders is getting dull!0 -

UK Home, or whatever it's called these days. But from even my short acquaintance with you and this forum, I'm guessing you don't have cable or Sky?0

Correct. There is a Sky aerial here, but I never understood it enough to be able to order it. I got a freeview for £15 instead, that fits neatly beside my Lidl portable TV.
When I moved in I didn't expect to be staying and also thought it wasn't worthwhile finding out how Sky works because I assumed it'd involve a 12 month contract... I don't feel I missed out.0 -
I can confirm that you're not missing much. But currently Bank of Mum and Dad is quite amusing.0

My OH suggested after beenie said they were looking for £130K profit that they'd need more than that to keep them in pies ...0

I hadn't seen that episode before.
To be fair the places by the roundabout would be fine if you had a motorcycle.
I did find those sisters a bit annoying, but the couple were nice. At one point the guy said "thank you Sarah". I was a bit shocked as I realised that after all the good free advice she gives people, I don't think I'd heard that phrase on the show before.0 -
I found the chubsters annoying, I'm afraid. They already had 20 btl's, didn't they? Just another pair who just wanted to on the telly imo. The decoration was horrendous but she obviously fancied herself as an interior designer.

.
To have 20 BTLs at that age they either come from money, into money or they've mewed them all to the hilt
Not that I'm jealous. They took a risk and have earnt any profit they made from those developments - they clearly haven't been rescued by a rising market like many of the muppets on PS&L0
