  • Man, people are blind. That second house was hideous from a missed potential point of view.

    Care home, LWKMD!!

Why oh why did they not listen to SB?
Tough times never last longer than tough people.
  • The care home one looked dreadful. They were lucky they made it so big really otherwise it would have been even less appealing

If they had listened to SB and made it into a mock Georgian monstrosity, together with all the other crap that a WAGS or a WAGS wannabee wants/needs, I'm sure it would have been snapped up and we wouldn't have had our fun.
Taste, you can't buy it ;)

"Despite original valuations of £950,000, £1.1 million and £1.3 million, eleven months on, Andy and Amanda still haven’t managed to find a buyer for their house. They're currently living in it and waiting to see what happens to the market. But they’ve not hung up their development hats - and have just started two new ones."
    .

This really gets on my tts! Why do these programmes follow "developers" who blatantly have ludicrous amounts of money to spend. They aren't realistic examples of average people trying to make a living by buying and selling property.

Maybe I'm just bitter because I dont have £1M to sp*nk up a wall, AND then go and guff another £500k on two more properties while i sit in my giant council house waiting for some numpty to offer £1.3M

Because the whole point of telly like this is to get people like you in a flap and chatting about it all the time.

Not to mention the carbon footprint of households who live in this sort of property.

They'll always be better off folk that live in big houses, some of them can't spend all their money (poor things) so it has to go somewhere. I'm sure that most of those people have huge carbon footprints, but to imply that a big house means you have a large one (CF) is inaccurate IMO.
I've often found btw, that mid price houses, say a 3 bed semi, up to 5 bed detached are the most interested in green issues. Above and below that, the interest wanes.
Either too much money, or not enough, to be interested I suppose.

"Sarah revisits sisters Helen Simpkins and Paula Harris in Warnborough. Last time they developed two identical houses, but this time they are splitting an old library into three flats. Also featuring Chris and Amanda Hodges who are attempting to develop two large semis in Christchurch."

I remember the two sisters... idiots.
