elle, dont compare yourself or your milk flow to anyone else !!

Could you not get a microwave steraliser or a cold water one and start using the hand pump again??

Elle i know what you mean, it's a personal thing - i used my manual pump in front of my mother which i never thought i'd do cos we're not close like that but i could never do it in front of anyone else

When my nephew had to go on formula he had formula designed for prem babies and he really did seem to do better with it, he seemed to have a little growth spurt now he's huge!

I used to be happy to get my baps out at any occassion !!
Now though I am a bit more subdued about it, still flash Chris all the time and he just says yumm every time I do !!
Dont think I would be comfortable expressing infront of a stranger though

have to agree with MM elle everyone is different when it comes to BFing ... your doing your best and thats the main thing x

Sorry, yes, just realised I missed out the main point I was going to post about..

OH has just gone back to my parents' house to fetch the handpump. I can put it in the cold water steriliser I have here for the electric pump parts. I didn't have it set up until the nurse had a go at me about using the microwave steriliser and fresh pots every time. Was about two weeks in and still noone had told me about the cold water pots in the Dairy and I hadn't thought to ask..

To be honest, cos I bought a TT microwave steriliser for quickness at home, I'd never looked up or read anything about cold water sterilising.. That's what the last nine weeks were for, along with researching everything else!

Oh meant to ask, did you shout at OH last night, or was everything OK when you got to the hospital ?

No shouting, just a bit short with each other. After he txt to say he'd come back to do the cares, I replied with "oh thanks". When he asked what I meant, I replied with something like "For making me feel !!!!!! that I didn't come back to look after him like Daddy did" and his response was "Oh, I didn't mean it like that.. Stupid Daddy " then he txt again to say he loved me and Rhys..

He's still acting miffed with me.. been like it for days.. Still don't know for sure what it is but I don't think me not being able to express enough is helping
